Cam Akers RB - I think he’ll end up being a good one for someone. He has all the tools and produced behind an O-Line that was horrendous. Caldwell should seriously consider him if he’s on the board late 2nd/early 3rd, especially with Fournette’s future currently undecided.
Amik Robertson CB - Man I wish he was 3 inches taller. He’s going to be a baller in this league but will most likely be resigned to playing nickel. Not necessarily a bad thing though with most teams in nickel 60% of the time. Antoine Winfield Jr FS - Another guy I wish was 3 inches taller but I don’t think it’ll affect his game too much. I think he may be the best safety in this class and talent wise, is the complete package. What a huge upgrade he would be over Josh Wilson. Van Jefferson and Antonio Gandy Golden WR - 2 workhorse type WRs who with a little time to develop working with McCardell have potential to be more than solid #2 wideouts. Especially AGG at his height and weight. Van Jefferson reminds me of a slightly more athletic and polished Allen Hurns. Both should be available early day three just because of the shear depth of the class. Of course if we end up taking CeeDee Lamb, you won’t hear any complains from me. He has DeAndre Hopkins 2.0 written all over him. Him and Chark would be the new era Jimmy and Keenan.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
I'll try to avoid too many obvious ones
Reggie Corbin RB Illinois - old prospect and not that big so locked in day 3 in a deep class. Insane footwork and array of moves makes him great in space. Wasn't used much as a receiver but I think theres plenty of scope for that in the NFL, tested well too Damien Lewis G LSU - built sort of like Will Hernandez and plays a similar game. Complete bully in the run game, may struggle in the pass but he's the style of phone booth blocker I'd like at Guard Jeff Gladney CB TCU - seen every snap he's played as a TCU fan. Pretty complete package of athletic ability + IQ + temperament to be a v good corner. Don't think he has shutdown upside as a #1 but can definitely be a high end #2 Johnathan Ward RB CMU - another day 3 back but one of the best Receiving backs in the entire class. Lots of snaps outwide and has a very shifty upright running style kinda similar to Yeldon fused with Lev Bell AJ Epenesa DE Iowa - high level technician with high level play strength and motor + all the college pass rush production. All of that matters way more to me than a 40 time. He's about as similar a prospect you can get to Calais Campbell in terms of style and movement. He won't be as good but will be an above average Dline player for a decade (04-10-2020, 08:45 AM)Caldrac Wrote: QB: Jacob Eason, Cole McDonald & Steven Montez Shhh...

If we're stuck at 20 now I think he should be in the strong consideration tier with Jones and Jefferson/Ruggs. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

A Dline of Allen and Epenesa (wherever he lines up) is much more palatable than any alternative they can come out of the draft with. He doesn't need to be a 12 sack a year guy to have a pretty big impact for the defense at #20

Aside from the obvious picks...
QB: James Morgan RB: Akers, Perrine WR: Peoples-Jones TE: Albert Okwuegbunan G: Isiah Wilson @ RG T: Runyan (late pick) Edge: Uche DT: Fotu CB: Terrell S: Winfield, Chinn LB: Jacob Phillips (late pick)
LOVE THEM JAGUARS!
I like a lot of guys already mentioned by other posters.
A couple of guys I've not seen mentioned much that I would consider: -Davon Hamilton. If we don't go Brown or Kinlaw in the first I think he could be a great option in the second round (not at 42) with a trade up from our 3rd round pick. Excellent against the run, good motor, good physical tools. -McTelvin Agim could be another solid player in the later rounds.
I wouldn't say need, but I would love it if they just said, he know what.. Bump it! Gimme the best WR and the best RB in the 1st round. And just take it from there. Reach I say. Reach for Swift

OK here's my annual "love list". I'm not one to toot my own horn, but my love lists from the last two years actually hold up pretty well...
There's no point including all the biggest names, but I will say I think Burrow and Jeudy will be ELITE players in the league. As for the rest of my names: WR Denzel Mims LB Zack Baun RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire LB Kenneth Murray DL Raekwon Davis S Ashtyn Davis C Cesar Ruiz LB Malik Harrison S Antoine Winfield OT Lucas Niang WR Bryan Edwards EDGE Darrell Taylor RB Antonio Gibson OT Matt Peart QB Jalen Hurts EDGE Kenny Willekes CB Amik Robertson TE Albert Okwuegbunam OT Ben Bartch RB AJ Dillon G Netane Muti LB Evan Weaver TE Thaddeus Moss DL Leki Fotu RB Darrynton Evans TE Thaddeus Moss DL Leki Fotu LB Shaquille Quarterman RB Rico Dowdle EDGE Trevis Gipson G Tyre Phillips We show less advertisements to registered users. I’ve got loads, including these ones, who should be about on days 2 and 3
Logan Wilson (because he’s an intelligent LB who could play at strong side) Harrison Bryant (pass catching TE) Anthony Gordon QB (bring in Minshew’s successor?) Trevis Gipson DE (because he’s a pass rusher with potential) James Proche WR (just because he’s reliable) John Simpson OG. (one of the better guards) Devin Asiasi TE (athletic TE with potential) Jordan Elliott DE. (Versatile run stopper) Zack Moss RB (physical runner who doesn’t seem to be getting much attention)
Isaiah Simmons
Cee Dee Lamb Albert Okwuegbunam - I really like this guy. Got a chance to watch him in person once, his Freshman year. Loads of athleticism, he does need some polish in nuances of route running, but he stood out to me in person on two TD's up the seam. CB - I like AJ Terrell a lot even thought he had a bad NT game. CB - Christian Fulton - has years of good tape. Struggled a bit in the NT game, but one game doesn't erase a ton of solid tape. Very Tre'Davious White like IMO.
I have a lot of guys I really like. It's a very deep draft. I left out LB's, because we are set at that position IMO.

Shenault and Collin Johnson both could've been on there too, but I didn't want to list every WR I like in the draft or could've been there all day. |
