Will you accept the results of the election?

When are those on the left going to realize that your politicians are every bit as bad as Trump? At least Trump is not polished enough to fake it. We know who he is.
Hillary is a VERY influential person in the Democratic party, and she is saying Biden should not concede under ANY circumstance. I can't imagine the political fallout that would occur if a Republican said that. All hell broke loose in 2016 when Trump said he would wait and see if he would concede based on the circumstances. The democrats are actively working in every swing state to have universal mail in voting. It's the least secure way to vote. Even if Trump wins, it's a guaranteed controversy. Guaranteed. Thousands of mail in votes are going to be thrown out. It won't matter if they are incorrectly filled out, because the narrative will be voter suppression. The same "2 weeks" that were used for Corona will be used for this election. It is going to drag on for months. Guaranteed. This will end up in the courts. If you're not prepared to concede under these circumstances, why would you ask the other party to be prepared to concede? It's nonsensical. We show less advertisements to registered users. Election nerds like me are used to watching vote totals go up through the night, and watch the number of precincts reporting. Absentee and mail in ballots usually aren't discussed. This election, the reporters are going to have to report the same numbers, but also report "mail in ballots left to count" so that everyone has an idea if the counting is close to over or not. If everyone can see that the winner's lead is greater than the number of ballots that are left to count, they will understand that the counting is not over.

I remember watching a Democratic primary early on, when there was like 22 candidates. They were asked about completely banning semi automatic rifles and every last one of them said they would. That is not diversity. That is following the party line. Bring in someone who thinks differently on at least some issues. Whether Democrats choose to accept this or not, the reason Trump got elected was because he openly defied some of the Republican platform during his campaign. He stood out among the other candidates he was running against. Middle America likes people who "buck" the system. They don't want another "worker drone" who goes out there and does what they are told. It even happens in sports and entertainment as well. When I was young, I remember the character of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being by far, the most popular wrestler on the planet. That character was walked the line between babyface and heel and he spoke his mind whether the fans liked it or not. Since then, other public figures have followed that formula and have been wildly successful. Like it or not, that's what Trump did and it got him elected, despite his obvious lack of morals and mental disorders. The Democrats continuously trot out the same candidates over and over again. They all tow the party line and agree on the same issues, no matter if there is two candidates in the primary or 22. They are all the same. There is no diversity at all. In each of those early primaries where there were so many candidates, they still all agreed on nearly every single thing. They may have told of different ways of dealing with the issue, but they still spouted the same old "shpeal." That is when I realized the Democrats were in trouble. They never learn from history. They need to start pushing more diverse thinkers if they wanna win elections. They need to start listening to the Independent and "on the fence" voters in middle America instead of solely relying on east and west coast liberals who were always gonna vote Democrat anyway. Bring out a candidate who openly opposes some of the opinions of the other people on the stage. Few people actually are completely liberal or completely conservative, but those are the ones with the loudest voices. They need to see through that and offer something different. Until that happens, we'll be stuck with the Trump's of the world.

In 2008 prominent democrats wanted to discount absentee ballots in Florida because they did not arrive on time, even though the date stamp indicated they were submitted on time. How do you propose this should be handled in 2020 with a whole lot less security involved in ballot integrity? As far as riots in Jacksonville, one night and it was quelled.

At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.
Of course I'll accept it, what other choice does anyone really have? Will there be protest and up-rest either way, I'm pretty sure for a few weeks there will be protest and " NOT MY PRESIDENT " hyperbole from either losing side. As I see it no one is winning this election, both options are bad. Trump maybe the lesser of bad options but only because Biden is a puppet for the socialist movement.
I won't be celebrating either way on Nov 5th, instead I'll remain steadfast on the same long term goals I have set forth for my family the last 10 years, self sufficiency. Anyone that doesn't see this whole social experiment coming to a crashing end in the near future is crazy. Empires fall from within and we certainly are heading that course full speed ahead. Trump literally wrestled in the ring, and they didn't even make him oil up his chest first. That tells you about his power as a showman. That said, the syncophantic organization he took over persists, and remains syncophantic around him, rather than its old heroes and old beliefs. Unfortunately, Trump won't be on the ballot in 2022 or 2024 so they'll have to figure out what their platform is without him. Parties are synchophants by nature. Can we change that? Or can we get new parties? Is either possible? How could we make it happen, if so? (09-12-2020, 08:35 PM)EricC85 Wrote: Of course I'll accept it, what other choice does anyone really have? If massive numbers of people go on a quest for self sufficiency, the society, the webs of interdependence, starts to fall apart anyways. It's a self-fulfilling prophesy.
