Yes, elite.


Let's take a look at a random team like Green Bay.


QB Rodgers

RB Lacy, Starks

WR Nelson, Jones

TE meh

OLine, meh


DLINE they still got Matthews whose best football is behind him


LB they don't have any studs like Myles Jack


CB they don't match up with Ramsey and Gipson.


I would say Green Bay is a team that makes a playoff push year in and year out.


Our roster has more talent.


Let's look inside our own division. We have a roster that rivals the Texans, except they have a QB that is brand new and they have Foster at RB whose best days are behind him. Hopkins is a beast but that's all they have on offense.


Colts picked a center and pretty much have the same offense as last year at the skilled positions. Luck has been an after thought.


Jax has a juggernaut offense and our defense has the star power to be even better.

No haze...they just haven't played in the NFL yet.  Also, Jack has a knee issue.  I still think (just like many other "experts") that the Jags have the top draft class so far.  I agree we should wait to see if they start winning.

Win me 9 games, top 3 in turnovers forced, top 3 in points and yards allowed and we'll talk about elite. We haven't done anything yet.


But, when it happens, it's gonna be full on party mode in Duval. That said, we are SUBSTANTIALLY further down the road to elite level than we were 6 weeks ago.

Go to NFL.com. Read the article on the Jags moving up to select Myles Jack. Better yet, read the comments. Mad respect from fans of all teams. Even divisional fans. Very nice to read the comments for a change.

It's gonna be so fun when they end up with a losing season again (thanks to Bradley mostly)

 

QB Bortles - not elite yet)
RB Yeldon, Ivory - Ivory is better and yet he is not elite
TE Thomas, Lewis - Thomas didn't look elite last year, he was good though. Lewis is a joke
WR Hurns - Very good but not elite
WR Robinson - Getting really close but let's say he is
WR Greene, Lee - LOL nowhere near elite
LT Joke, Beachum - same as above
LG Cann - good not elite
C anybody - we don't even know whi this guys will be but somehow we are elite lol
RG Linder - same as Cann
RT Parnell - Decent/good

DE Fowler - hasn't played a down but somehow people he is elite
DT Jackson - let's say he is
DT Marks - dude has been hurt
DE Odrick - decent
LB Smith - very good but not elite yet
