Look at how many potential top 100 players we have.

We've certainly improved the potential talent pool this year.... repeat, 'potential' talent. We won't know what we've really got until the season has played out for a bit.... then, we'll see.

These "slow down" Jaguars fans have an inferiority complex. They don't never wanna say this team is talented because then they'll have to put high expectations on this team, coach, gm, and owner, which they refuse to do. They can field 11 pro bowlers on each side of the ball and they'll still say "we're getting there, maybe one more year of free agency and drafting".

Better lay off the teal Kool-Aid.  Yes, on paper the team looks vastly improved over last year, but "elite"?

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Until Jack, Ramsey, and Fowler gain experience, this defense is far from elite. On the way though.

Based on history, it will take Fowler at least a year to be consistent enough to be a game changer.

Ramsey should be pretty competitive, but it will take him time to figure out how to fully use his traits and to just slow down a bit.

Jack will be the most impactful on a play by play basis. Linebackers tend to transition well. But beating out Poz for those run downs will be a major task. Poz wont give way so easily.

So holes are: center and strong safety. Need more depth at mlb. Other than that this team has finally added a few elite players and a very competitive roster. I couldn't be happier.

Bortles, Arob, and Malik Jackson. That's about it for now.

I will go as far to say the roster has 'elite' talent... But we are by no means an "elite" team or defense... That takes wins and big wins at that.. We have 12 of those in 3 years.. lets see if we can get there.

Game 1 against GB, lets see how they do before we call them elite.
