Yeah, don't know I can agree with that. I understand that winning and losing is everything. But, there is a buzz in this town we haven't seen since 2007. (Most) people actually believe that you fix the D and we win the division. I never felt that way during Gene Smith's reign. He blew up Shack Harris' handiwork and proceeded to gut the roster in the name of "base hits." 

 

Outside of the similar W-L records, I don't see a resemblance, at all.

Lol the good ol "base hit" philosophy. Try to draft a team full of average players. I still wonder why that strategy never worked out hahaha.
