***Official Jaguars vs Patriots Second Half Thread***

#21

Wasn't 20-3 the score of the playoff game between the Jags and the Pats back when the Jags could actually spell playoffs?

I'm too lazy to look it up.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Bortles is still just so inconsistent. Not sure if it's a mental thing. He will make a great throw one play, and then overthrow Lewis on the next. Come on Bortles!

And come on defense. Show life, geez.

Quote:Some defense would be nice.

Brady is making it difficult. He either gets the ball out < 2 seconds, or he finds the open target. He's perfected that this year.

Should have kept Red Bryant and gotten rid if Alualu...

He had 1 INT and at least 2 others that should have been so far.

Stop giving the receivers 10 yards off the snap. You already know Brady throws mostly short passes.

Key to 2nd half? Not play white flag defense. All I ask is to try to play the game instead of forfeiting

The problem with Bortles is he doesn't make quick decisions. You watch the best guys, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers...they're all making really quick decisions and quick throws a lot of the time. Bottles hold on the ball, DB's read his eyes and it just doesn't seem like he has a whole lot working for him upstairs.

People complaining about the defense, they held the Pats to 13 in the first half had Bortles not thrown that INT. Maybe would've been even less had this pathetic offense been able to do something.

Rich Gannon looks happy to covering a Jags game.

Then the Pats will hit us deep and quick. Give them the short stuff and let them run the clock. The offense has to keep up, it is the only way.

Quote:45-17 Patriots. God we don't even look like we are up and coming. 2007 team hung in there until the end. I long for garrard, reggie williams, and Dennis Northcutt over these bums.

Sad isn't it?

Did they really propose adjustments in the second half?  Really?
