Should we play the ‘What if Trump said this’ game?

No need. We all know the rules.

With the Covid emergency over, Biden has very limited authority to stop the flow of migrants.
Immigration law needs to be clarified (by Congress) but no one wants to clarify it.
The big cities really do want and need some new immigrant labor, however, making it a free for all is not what they want at all.

Remind me again, who stopped construction of the border wall?

Trump, every time he signed a budget that didn't fully fund the wall.
Couple of ways you can explain that away.  One, Trump didn't know what he was signing, or two, the Wall talk was all kayfabe.

The wall talk was all talk. He should have just kept doing what Obama was doing. Technically, he tried. The system just didn't like him trying to do it.

Dear But Trumper,

Please follow the link posted below to the executive order signed by President Biden the day he took office.

Proclamation on the Termination Of Emergency With Respect To The Southern Border Of The United States And Redirection Of Funds Diverted To Border Wall Construction | The White House

In addition to halting wall construction, Biden proclaimed Trump's previous declaration of a national emergency at the border to have been unwarranted.  Now that this "unwarranted" problem has migrated farther north (no pun intended), NYC and Massachusetts have each declared a state of emergency.  Isn't that interesting?

Emergency Executive Order 9844 was promulgated in February 2019.  Wasn't it also an emergency in February 2017? Why the 2 year wait? Or maybe it was never an emergency?

You're not wrong.
There was a big gap between how soft folks thought Obama was on immigration, and how tough he actually was.  Similarly, the differences between how Biden handles the issue and how Trump handled it are very much exaggerated. Changing the guy in the White House doesn't change much when the underlying laws and budget allocations don't change.

It's not really his fault, he has a severe case of TDS.  There is no known cure, though there is widespread speculation in the medical community that a lobotomy could provide some relief.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes the Fish and Wildlife Service to sign off on a rocket launch. My first impression is that this is another bureaucratic hurdle thrown in Musk's way. We'll see.

...The FWS said it doesn’t have all the information it needs from the FAA to update its original opinion about how SpaceX’s launch facility, called Starbase, will impact endangered species and critical habitats surrounding the site — what’s known as a biological assessment.

“Once the Service reviews FAA’s final biological assessment and deems it complete, consultation will be re-initiated and we will have 135 days to issue a final biological assessment,” Aubry Buzek, a Fish and Wildlife Service public affairs specialist, said in an email Monday.

“At any time FAA and the Service can agree to extend that time if for some reason we need to gather further information or new information is presented,” Buzek said...

Completely predictable because he has had the audacity to question the powers that be.  Maybe he should move his operation to South Africa?

AI is going to fundamentally change humanity, no doubt. I don't see how humans don't eventually become machines.
