if true, then I guess we can only hope that somewhere there is video evidence of Baalke kicking Lambo...or Lamping....or <<random name goes here>> and it gets leaked.

I doubt McDaniels Pederson or Caldwell will work with Baalke. Any idea of who would?

Looking at good candidates so far. There's nothing wrong with looking at Dan Quinn and Todd Bowles. Kellen Moore and Byron Leftwich would be the main coaches though of interest for obvious reasons.
Looks like they're fixing to talk to Doug Pederson though. Based on the reports I fully expect Doug Pederson to have his [BLEEP] together already staffing wise and blow the socks off Khan in the interview. Hope he looks through his soul and says "I want the job. And I want Trent Baalke off my [BLEEP] lawn". Jim Caldwell needs to be interviewed next. They also need to get in touch with Rick Smith, Mike Borgonzi and Joe Horitz about replacing Baalke. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? He did a good job with that O in 2017 and has done really well in Green Bay but hes got Rodgers so people will put it on that. Im pretty happy with the names being mentioned so far, still think experience beats out hype or potential right now. Turning this team around is going to be a tough job.

However I'd hope Khan would only look at guys who have shown the ability to develop a QB. No defensive guys, no guys who came into a situation with an already established QB whose coattails they could ride. Pederson and McDaniels should probably be the top two guys talked to, but it looks like Khan isn't even serious about making change, so I'm not sure either of those guys would have interest in this job. Might have to just take what he can get, like he had to do with Marrone. |
