And don't point to 2015 either Mrs Bort. The guy was losing games while putting up good numbers with very good WRs in garbage time. Imagine Arob, Hurns, and even Lee with a true, defined as above-average QB.


I'm rooting for Bortles, I think the drinking rumors are typical of spoiled Jaguars fans that reside in Jacksonville. I don't believe them, I think Bortles is a good guy, charismatic, and funny.


He's not the guy going forward if I'm betting my money on it. I just don't think him and his UCF pedigree are going to ever amount to being worth his draft selection. Same as Fowler. Sue me. Go Jags.

I like Bortles, I haven't given up on him like some of you have, and I also understand and agree with the criticism he has been given. He had a bad season, the team had a bad season, and like many suggested, the coaching was very poor and was day 1 from the Gus Bradley era. No doubt Blake needs to perform or he is gone this season. I have seen a lot of potential in him, more than I saw with any of the QB the Jaguars have ever drafted. He does have the potential to be our franchise QB. 

 

Hes a Florida guy, he loves the Jags, hes big, can run, is smart and is confident in the pocket. Has to work on his mechanics and better decision making, Im willing to give him another chance.

Strange, you call " Mrs. Bortles" out constantly ( Very mature btw ), yet when somebody proves your " garbage time 2015" numbers wrong you were nowhere to be found! Yet here you are with garbage time again. Mrs. Henne, maybe?

I just hope that Blake does not get all cocky with this offseason's success.  Did anyone see that pass he threw that was posted on twitter and discussed on the other thread?    Kind of hard to keep a level head after a pass like that.

I like Blake and I'm hoping his work this offseason helps and he's ready to focus on this year.  He knows this year is his last shot to turn it around.  I hope he does.

Dude, they are out there. It's not hard to look up. The fact that reporters are actually asking him questions about it shows that there is truth to it. Personally, he can go out and drink for all I care. Just win some games, please.
