Trump rages in ALL CAPS after appeals court rules against him. WELP

Quote:Were you sick the day they taught civics in school? Here's a little hint. Appellate courts are Constitutionally placed to review and vet the decisions of the lower courts. In this particular case, no judgement/decision was ever rendered. A stay was issued, which is far from being a judgement. The correct action would have been to remand the case to the lower court with instruction to issue a formal judgement
. This is nothing new for the 9th circuit court though. They tend to try to legislate from the bench. This ruling will be smacked down by the Supreme Court soon enough.

Exactly.  Your whole statement is correct and the part in red is especially true.

The more that comes out about this case the more it looks like this is a vicious Act of Judiciary tyrany. In 1948 Supreme Court Justice, the chief prosecutor for the Nuremberg trials stated pretty clearly that the Judiciary has no role to play in decisions about immigration as related to National Security. One of the chief reasons cited is because they don't have the information the expertise or the accountability to the population that the political branches of government are charged with protecting. It was summarily designated as power of the political branches of government as codify din law in 1952 where the president is given broad unilateral and absolute power over designating inadmissible aliens of any class and origin that he deems detrimental to the interests of the United States or anytime that he deems necessary.

My comment was poorly worded. I meant why does the ban not protect us from countries that have harbored terrorists that actually attacked us? Where is Saudia Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey, or the UAE?

The order suspends entry into the U.S. from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen for 90 days. But critics have argued that Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates were not included, even though a report from the Cato Institute showed that the three countries were the point of origin for people responsible for 94.1 percent of American deaths due to terrorist attacks in the U.S. Eighteen of the 19 people responsible for the 11 September 2001 attacks also hailed from those three countries.

This is a huge part of the reason that the 9th circuit court is by far the most overturned appellate court. The Supreme Court must be tired of babysitting them and cleaning up their judicial messes.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Why no ban on the countries I listed above?

I don't bother responding to your drivel. I read it, but that's just to get a good laugh.

I know why you won't respond and it has nothing to do with the bullcrap you just said.

If this travel ban was actually about protecting Americans Chump would have restricted travel from the countries he excluded. Protecting us is not his priority.

Snopes.com is pretty much fake news.

Take a look at the countries in your list and tell me what the difference is between them all.

Trump doesn't have business ties in the ones on the ban.

Open your mind a bit and figure out what the difference is between them all.  It has nothing to do with President Trump or business ties.

The ban on these seven nations is about which countries harbor the greatest threats according to today's intelligence... or at least according to the most recent intelligence from Obama's admin. ...you're talking about twenty some years ago. The main reason those countries are not included is because this is NOT a ban on Muslims. It's a ban strictly on the most likely countries per our intel.

Do you not recall the whole ordeal where Trump relinquished all ties from his business and made it clear that no decisions would be made because of it? He did this specifically so that nobody would come back and question any of his decisions as potentially being a conflict of interest. He made clarifying this much his first priority specifically so that no idiots would come out and suggest his business in any way might have played a role. ...and yet here you are.
