Why isn't Marqise Lee playing?

Can't it be both...?

Quote:Hurns gets most of the reps as the #3 WR.

Lee gets most reps when he fakes and end-around.  I counted only a handful of routes he actually ran this Sunday.

Why aren't we forcing him to play?  We invested a lot in him, I think we should see what we have in him (similar theory to why other rookies are starting)....

Just doesn't make much sense to me.

i believe its like someone else already mentioned, just taking longer to learn and be comfortable in the offense than others.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

It can and it is.  It's a double football blasphemy hex he's under.  There is really no other possibility.

Quote:Easy. Bad football name.

Great martial arts name though,

See Bruce Lee

Jet Li (spelled differently, sounds the same) so it counts here.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

If Sanders can't get the punt returns improving then they should give Lee a shot.

So did the post about Marqise Lee being a bad football name. The only bad football name belongs to our fullback.

I expected Cecil Shorts to remain #1 and Allen Robinson to be #2. Then came the hamstring injuries.

Allen Robinson is having a near record breaking rookie season as far as receptions are concerned. They showed the most receptions after 8 weeks for rookie WR, and Brandin Cooks, Sammy Watkins, Allen Robinson, and one other are actually top 4 out of 6 ever for rookies. 4 rookies in 2014 are making great strides towards the record books. Pretty crazy.

It's true.  The rule changes help, but receivers are also coming to the league more prepared than before IMO.

A-Rob is on pace for 80 catches for 900+ yds w/ 4 TDs in his rookie campaign.   I think he may exceed that since he wasn't targeted often early in the season.  That's pretty amazing.  Want some reference?

Andre Johnson and Dwayne Bowe had similar rookie numbers.

He just has not been impressive. I hope he is a late bloomer but been very mediocre so far.

Marqise Lee's injury was a strained hamstring and did get reported. He missed three games because of it. So there is no reason to make up that crap.

I fear he just isn't that talented, but that is old news to people who read my pre draft posts. It is going to be really sad, that in an all time great WR class, if we get the one disappointing WR of the top 3 rounds. I hope I am proven wrong in the long run, but man Davante Adams (or Cody Latimer) would've looked incredibly good across from Arob.
