Ryan davis is league leader in sacks

Davis could easily get 8-10 sacks from that DT position if our run defense is good enough to force 3rd and longs.

The irony of this thread is that today the NFL gave Branch credit for the second sack and not Davis... so Branch has 2 sacks and Davis has one.

Quote:When Poz does anything other than tackle after a 5-8 yard gain let me know.  Reynolds is the best LB we have on our team followed by Watson.  Telvin may be able to be after he adjusts to the pros.

wow

watch some football

Poz is overpaid  -- but when Shannon Sharpe called him the real deal last season while covering the Denver game - he and almost everyone besides you knew what they were seeing.

Sure he's a holdover from a dying era of old school 4-3 defense, but he's so good at it that he continues to be valuable in a scheme that doesn't suit his skill set.  He's by far our best option at MLB despite not fitting the scheme and he is sorely missed when not on the field.

If you paid any attention at all during preseason - you'd have noted the cavernous drop-off between Poz and Stupar. And if that wasn't enough - when he left the game a few days ago - the void was very apparent.  All you have to do is watch.  It couldn't be more obvious. Blaming the MLB for 5 and 8 yard runs is just ridiculously lazy. You have to try harder.
