Come on Jags! 29 - 27 Jags win

Quote:Saturdays high is forecast to be 92 in Philly. Not my forecast. I'm not a meteorologist. That's google, bud. Don't get mad at me because you foolishly started claiming the Iggles would wear white, to force us to wear black, to make us hotter, so that we will lose. My god you make my head hurt and my ears bleed. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Not my forecast. I'm not a meteorologist. Not mad. The Eagles have worn white at home for their opener (for the very reason I've stated) for as long as I can remember. They then usually wear their green at home (for all of the remaining games). Not sure how thats a "foolish claim". Facts aren't "foolish claims". I also proved your "teal" assertion incorrect. Lots of wrong in your post. I cited the National Weather Service for my forecast. You cited Google. I'm guessing the actual NWS will be more accurate.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Saturdays high is forecast to be 92 in Philly. From your source: Quote:Sunday A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 78. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Quote:You also cited Saturday's forecast. So unless they changed the day we play... Well, that was to illustrate some context....if its going to be 92 in Philly on Saturday, then theres no way that the temperature at Kickoff on Sunday is going to only be 68 degrees. As said, the low is only supposed to drop to 69. By midday Sunday (kickoff), I'd guess right now that it will be 80 degrees, minimum. (despite the conservative forecast high of 78) Unless some record cold front is supposed to pass Saturday night (facetious) We show less advertisements to registered users. It's not unusual at all for temperatures to vary greatly from day to day. It can be 70 one day, and then 30 the next. Wunderground has the temperature at kickoff at 73. And weather.com (and even the place you linked to) has a high of 78. That's certainly not '80 minimum'. It's closer to your 85 than his 68, but Wunderground's 73 is closer to his 68 than your 85.

Quote:Record Cold Front? Really? It's not unusual at all for temperatures to vary greatly from day to day. It can be 70 one day, and then 30 the next. I know this area/ I live in this area....temperatures don't vary THAT greatly from day to day in Early September. You watch...the closer we get to Sunday, that forecast will be modified as we go on and by the time we actually get to Sunday, the high temp forecast will be 80 or above. (and the high temp will obviously occur sometime during the 1pm-4pm football game...)
ok yes the Eagles can score some points but also remember they had the worst ranked passing defense last year so I say that we can move the ball. don't forget that I'm also a Jaguars fan so the score 26 to 20 Jags. I am hoping Bradley has the defense ready to play.
Quote:Not mad.Your facts are as good as mine. Google gets its info from multiple weather sites. Including The Weather Channel and Wunderground. Your foolish claim is about the fact that a darker jersey will effect the game, the play of the players, or the outcome. The "high" of the day is not the temperature I was talking about. The temp at kickoff is slated for 68, with the temp rising to the "high" for the day around 3-4. And yes, temps can range from day to day by the 15 degrees... It's how fronts work. I live in Pensacola, I've seen it as nice as 68 one day and 90 the next. Science is a wonderful thing. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Yes, the Eagles have a distinct advantage by forcing the Jaguars to wear their black jerseys this Sunday. They're all gonna die. The Jaguars clearly practice in only white jerseys, and it's not really that hot or humid in Florida in August/September. They don't know what they're about to face, but I'm sure it's awful. They should probably just forfeit since they've never played in such hostile weather conditions.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:I think I know the climatology of this area around this specific time a little better than you. Does grease heat up faster this time of year in New Joisey? Inquiring minds want to know. Since you're a junior meteorologist along with a wannabe bar stool GM, we'll defer to your expertise. I'm told the heat in Philly in September is only rivaled by the surface of the sun. Is that true? Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

You're proven wrong more often than being able to prove yourself right. You are a master at the art of spinning, I give you that. If the Jaguars score 27 points with Henne at QB the defense and special teams will have to score 3 TDs...not likely.

Quote:I'm not sure I believe what I'm reading in this thread. The Eagles are choosing to wear white this weekend at home. They normally wear their greens. They have also done this in past early September games. Why do you think that is, Scarecrow? What do you think their reasoning is? |
