The Eagles have worn white at home for their opener (for the very reason I've stated) for as long as I can remember. They then usually wear their green at home (for all of the remaining games). 

 

Not sure how thats a "foolish claim". Facts aren't "foolish claims".

As said, the low is only supposed to drop to 69. By midday Sunday (kickoff), I'd guess right now that it will be 80 degrees, minimum. (despite the conservative forecast high of 78)

Record Cold Front?  Really?  It's not unusual at all for temperatures to vary greatly from day to day.  It can be 70 one day, and then 30 the next.  

 

Wunderground has the temperature at kickoff at 73.  And weather.com (and even the place you linked to) has a high of 78.  That's certainly not '80 minimum'.  It's closer to your 85 than his 68, but Wunderground's 73 is closer to his 68 than your 85.

I know this area/ I live in this area....temperatures don't vary THAT greatly from day to day in Early September. You watch...the closer we get to Sunday, that forecast will be modified as we go on and by the time we actually get to Sunday, the high temp forecast will be 80 or above. (and the high temp will obviously occur sometime during the 1pm-4pm football game...)

And yes, temps can range from day to day by the 15 degrees... It's how fronts work.

Yes, the Eagles have a distinct advantage by forcing the Jaguars to wear their black jerseys this Sunday.  They're all gonna die.  The Jaguars clearly practice in only white jerseys, and it's not really that hot or humid in Florida in August/September.  They don't know what they're about to face, but I'm sure it's awful.  They should probably just forfeit since they've never played in such hostile weather conditions.

The Eagles are choosing to wear white this weekend at home. They normally wear their greens. 

 

They have also done this in past early September games.
