Bortles, lee, robinson, hurns, shorts, GURLEY. Im drooling. Defenses could never stack the box with bortles and our weapons, and Gurley going against only 6 or 7 defenders in the box would be a lock for nearly 1500 yards and 12 tds every year. Idc what the league trend is, Gurley is special, AP special, you take him in the first. Then we can build the interior through free agency and the second and third rounds.

It all depends where the jaguars wind up picking. I know personally I'm going pretty hard on the interior o line, particularly grasu bandwagon.

I also think storm is really good for where we got him.

I think gurley as a jag is pretty slim but he is a stud.

It's kind of ironic that the last two Super Bowl champs had elite RBs and B-list QBs.

I wouldn't call a 2 time pro bowler B-list.

Then you have a really liberal A-list.

My A-list would include guys like Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Brady. Russell Wilson is not on that level of QB unless you're trying to push an agenda.

Also, using pro-bowls to judge a player's level of play is laughable.

I'd say Russell Wilson is knocking on the door of elite.

Give me Gurley, Kelvin, or D. Henry at RB and I'd be happy.

Agreed with all of this.

If we're picking in the 10-15 range like I expect I want him to be our pick in the first. Our skills positions would be crazy stacker, we'd have one of the best offenses in the league, let alone our division. I think Linder and Bowanko will end up being viewed pleasant surprises similar to Pasztor last year by the time the season ends. Talk about an explosive offense. A big bodied QB who is not only a superior pocket passer with a laser arm and is deadly with his passes on the move but also a threat in the running game, with a big young running back who is both fast and powerful and can catch out of the backfield to go along with Gerhart, Storm, and D-Rob, and two big receivers with excellent hands and YAC ability and two fast shifty guys who can take the top off the defense. If the young guys on the offensive line pan out we'll be looking at the best offense this team has had since the 1999 season, if not better.

I'd be on board with taking him top 10. Marshawn Lynch is more important to the Seahawks than everyone but Wilson. Gurley has so much ability. Caldwell will find the right guy, but I'm hoping Gurley is the right guy

he is absolutely worth a 1

IF IF IF he stays healthy this year

talent-wise, no one is close to him other than Gordon. In fact, Gordon is right there with him

I'll assume you meant Melvin, considering Melvin Gordon is the 2nd best RB in college football.

Yay

Said this in the other thread he is Adrian Peterson 2.0, I would pick him in the top 10

Only teams needing a Franchise QB or have a young franchise RB (which isnt many) should pass on him

We have the QB, I like Toby, but he will be 28, and Gurley upside is way better, I would pick him in a heart beat

I'd be estatic to draft Gurley assuming a good DE like Randy Gregory isn't on the board.

He's got the talent to be a first round guy, but RB just isn't a position you have to take in the 1st round anymore if you want an impact player. Last season of the top 10 rushers 3 were first round picks, while 4 were taken in the 3rd round or later.

Terrible reasoning. Out of the top 12 WRs, only 4 were picked in the 1st round. 5 were picked in the 3rd round or later. Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon, and Pierre Garcon were all in the 6th round or later.

I also find it funny that if you extened it to top 15 rushers, you get 4 more 1st round picks included.

He is the next Trent Richardson... not worth a first
