These men are wearing shorts. Do you go to the gym in your underwear? Do you jog around the neighborhood in your underwear?

For that matter, even on game day the Roar are not simply wearing underwear.

That being said, This term creates bad, bad imagery.

For example, would you have wanted to see Vince Manawai or Grady Jackson battling each other in their tighty-whiteys?

That you even think about this gives one pause.

Evidently, two of them are thinking about Grady Jackson in his underwear.

"Gabbert.... Tearing it up in practice!"

That's pretty much all I heard during his time here. Like Iverson once said "We talkin bout practice. Practice! Not a game... Not a game... We talkin bout practice"

Was that the same year that the team didn't come close to meeting expectations and got punked by a bunch of other teams?

I just want to know if I should head over to Wells Fargo building today or wait for the next practice report.

The only one "disappointed" is the nimrod that wrote that piece.

Is this thread serious?....

I suppose players are supposed to have great practices every single day.

These aren't robots...

Personally, I don't really care all that much anyway. I'm the type of person that puts wayyyyy more stock into how Bortles plays once he's actually out there in games, rather than some practice.

I know we have people here that seem to be the opposite, tho.

If you read the article by the nameless author, you'll see on the side that he wrote another Bortles hit piece about 10 days before. Just a guy with an agenda.

Maybe Jerrard is available.

Although Bortles was the first quarterback off the board at No. 3 overall, he's behind Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater in Vegas' odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year - Roto World

=====================================

“You have to make this stuff muscle memory because what I’ve been doing for 22 years isn’t the right way,’’ Bortles said. “But that’s what I’m used to doing. So I have to fix it. It’s going to take time.’’ - As reported by USA Today

“He’s a very humble kid. Football is his main priority in his life right now,’’ Caldwell told USA TODAY Sports. “The best thing about him is he can identify his weaknesses and he knows he has a lot of work to do right now.

“He has the ability to get better on a daily basis. That’s the biggest thing about Blake. There’s a lot of perseverance, knowing that he’s going to go through a lot of peaks and valleys throughout this whole year,” Caldwell said. “But after some of the worst valleys he’s had, he’s responded very well the following day with some of the highest peaks. He’s internally driven, looking to get better on a daily basis.’’

==============================

If he wasnt making mistakes and improving upon them they he wouldnt be learning which would be odd for a rookie dont you think?

I think we all know just how important the ORY award is... **cough, cough** Vince Young vs. Maurice Jones Drew **cough, cough**.

Also, Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater will probably start much sooner than Blake Bortles.

The important point though, is he is allowed to make mistakes at this point. He hasn't even been through his first training camp yet. What he does after making those mistakes is more important.

I would love to see odds in Vegas regarding which of the three will be the most successful, or which of the three has the longest NFL career. My personal prediction is Manziel will be the first one gone a la Tim Tebow. There is not much difference between the two from what I have seen.

Do they give OROY to guys for holding a clipboard and working on their mechanics in practice?

They're basically saying they expect the Jaguars to actually follow their plan.
