They have their franchise signal-caller, but they could use a reserve... So that would leave either the Saints, Packers, 9ers, or maybe the Eagles.

Why take a quarterback that nobody can honestly present?
We say that the Combine and Pro Days are meaningless. Yet each year we see the draft order turn upside down directly relating to face to face relations. Why not? You don't know squat about a pro prospect until you chew the fat with him. Once you do meet things should change if they need to. I have said all along that we all pinned hopes that Teddy Bridgewater would continue to improve to the elite level of play. He did not. His game is nowhere near elite level. When he failed to develop it raised questions. When questions come to mind the next thing to do is research. The research indicates the reason he did NOT progress directly relates to his lack of competitive nature. Once the reason he retracted his commitment to Miami was discovered it all made sense. He shopped around for a place where he would NOT have to compete. His mother believed he was a shoe-in at Louisiana State until he learned that they were bringing Zach Mettenberger for a visit, Bridgewater sensed he would have to compete for the starting quarterback job. He then passed on LSU and ended up in Louisville. He sought out Louisville simply because it offered him the easiest route to a starting quarterback role in college. Mettenberger is obviously better than Bridgewater according to Teddy's own judgment. The draft ranks should reflect this much.

Quote:I don't know if I should question my own sanity by agreeing with you or not..Do me a favor and don't agree with what you aren't sure of. I'm just the wing-nut that has the audacity to believe that Tulsa QB Cody Green is a draft option in the late rounds.

They have an undersized QB who relies on timing and accuracy to get the job done. They may know what they're talking about. Packers? They have the QB Ted likes to compare himself to. A QB they let fall to them and sat to develop. They also may know what they're talking about. 9ers? They have Harbaugh's ego. Let Alex Smith go, selected the "best player" in the draft in the second round, but then traded for Gabbert. Wait, what? Eagles? Foles, Sanchez, and Barkley. Really? Which exec(s) doesn't know their QBs? And... what are the odds that exec was the one quoted?

Haha, cant believe Boyd called him out If you can't compete at the combine how do you expect to compete for a roster spot and starting role on an NFL team? The Teddy Brigade better get used to seeing this: ![]()

Quote:I dont know about all that but Tajh Boyd questioned his competiveness also. Tajh Boyd? Haha, cant believe Boyd called him outAbsolutely. Boyd competed at a major college level. Bridgewater accepted a far lesser level to fit his game. Let's not forget that when Clemson faced Florida State this year the Tigers had the superior ranking. Boyd was a major part of that. What we don't seem to know is why the wheels of his game came off.

Quote:I dont know about all that but Tajh Boyd questioned his competiveness also. Tajh Boyd? Haha, cant believe Boyd called him out I'm not a fan of Tajh Boyd at all, but it was clear he was the alpha dog in the room of Ted, Fales, Mariucci, and himself when on Mariucci's QB show. I was not expecting that.

It would be cool if these criticisms included why they think Teddy cant throw the football. Ya know, the main job QBs have. Ya he sucks at throwing a 9, but other than that i cant find glaring weaknesses.
Aleo those who liked Tim Tebow should stop posting in this thread, actually all threads tbh. |
