Rookie TEs rarely produce as rookies. They take a while to develop.

This team is going for it all this year. Every moves screams "Win now". 

They will still most likely draft a TE. Get over it.

Who says they wont? In the short term this was a great signing.  He's not Gronk, but he has great hands and is faster than anything we have.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins’ deal with #Jaguars is structured as one year, $4.75 million and a $5.25M option for 2019. Trigger: a $500K option bonus decision next February. Max $11M with incentives.

Marcedes was the last TE we drafted in the first 2 rounds 12 years ago. Enough already. All our attempts at FA TEs have failed miserably. This will be no different.
