Depends on how you weigh an uncertain QB situation and ostensibly some freedom in play-calling against a good QB situation and ostensibly little to no freedom in play-calling. 

We can only guess which Monken may prefer.

Depends. Getting to work for a great QB like Mayfield in a good situation might appeal more, he'd probably have an assistant HC role too.

Monken is still interviewing elsewhere - but yeah they may be eyeing a position coach on a playoff team to promote.

I sure hope so. No one wants Bevell and Monken is interviewing everywhere. Hiring Bevell will be a disappointment.

Oh stop, changing the play caller with 5 games to play doesn't give any chance to change the playbook. It's a different guy using the same plays with the same god awful linemen.

Reading where Kingsbury said he would take Kyler Murray with the #1 pick. Cards would possibly trade Rosen.  I just don't see Murray succeeding as an NFL QB.  5'9?  I dunno.  Wonder if the Cards would take 1/7 and Fournette for Rosen?  Murray, Johnson, Fournette, Fitzgerald....be a pretty legit offense.
