 My stepdad has FTL dementia, the same as Bruce Willis for context, and his physical frailty has been on par with his mental frailty. Just as he has declined quite a bit in the last few years, Biden has as well. Dementia is a friend to no one. 

How you think Trump is less physically fit than Biden is beyond me. Trump is a bigger guy for sure but he gets around better than Biden does.

I'm comparing how physically fit Biden was at 78 to how physically fit Trump is now.

In the country club, he would have done swimming, tennis, and squash in addition to golf, and the military school probably would have made him do cross country, hiking, shooting, basketball, football, and other sports.
He does none of those things now, except golf with a cart.

An engineer is attempting to persuade voters that multi-billionaire businessman who had tremendous economic success his first term in office doesn't know what he's doing. He's basing that information on what he's read from journalists who are interpreting college professors about will work or not work for our economy, even though they've never run a business, and our economy faltered hard under the Biden regime.

That's a gross oversimplification of what happens when tariffs are applied and generally the definition used by those who don't understand or have another agenda.  There are more parties involved than just the end consumer and if there are adequate substitute goods at the same or similar prices, the end consumer and the overall economy isn't harmed at all.  Your "harm yourself" comment might apply in a scenario where there is only one country providing a particular good which happens to be a staple with demand being inelastic and a tariff is applied to that good.  A tariff should probably never be applied in that situation.  In pretty much every other scenario, the tariff applies pressure that can be relieved in many other ways that are positive for the country applying the tariff.  This is before factoring in the value of the U.S. Market versus the rest of the world.  It is a commodity and should be treated as such when necessary when negotiating.

Perhaps I'm not up to date, but my understanding if he's proposing applying tariffs across the board in exchange for wiping out the income tax.  That's a different ball of wax altogether and is worth investigating in my opinion as I have been in favor of the fair tax or a consumption tax for a long time which is what this would essentially be if what I think I heard proposed is what has actually been proposed.  A lot of manufacturing would come back in such a scenario I'd think.

That is a different ball of wax.  He mentions the 20% across the board tariff a lot more often than the eliminating the income tax. He could do the tariff unilaterally, but he would need Congress to help him change the income tax.  A 20% tariff wouldn't generate nearly enough revenue to replace the income tax.  The so-called fair tax was supposed to apply to all final retail sales, not just imports.  So this version of Trump's idea isn't very serious and doesn't merit much discussion, I don't think.
