My take on the interview:  I thought it was ok. Trump did dance around some answers but also gave some great insight.  The man can talk and probably could of gone another couple of hours. I did like the fact that they talked outside of politics to know a little bit about the person.  Overall I think Trump did a good job.  It wasn't perfect but far better than I think Kamala could do. 

Kamala has only one argument when asked hard questions.  Her response is always, "Trump this or Trump that."  She never answers the real tough questions.

I saw a clip Fox News put up on youtube from the podcast and all he did was bash Harris. It may have only been that bit where it was an issue but it was unnecessary IMO. If Fox's purpose was to reinforce how dumb Harris is, they didn't need to put the focus on Trump saying it, she shows her incompetence every time she speaks. Rogan pushed the election interference angle while Trump danced around the stolen election angle. They both agree it wasn’t a fair election for whatever that’s worth. 

I don’t care about 2020 I care about 2025 and beyond. Trump talked in length about using tariffs as an economic weapon, big example was a Chinese manufacturing plant in Mexico he killed it with threatening tariffs at over 200%. In that specific case it’s the perfect use as a weapon in no way should we let china enter our market anymore than they already are. 

They also talked at length about RFK and his health movement make America healthy they called it. 

Really should make time to listen to the whole thing there’s a lot to unpack and there’s a lot of fluff too.

I didn't say the US is like Brazil or Mexico.  I said those two countries are similar to each other.  They are both behind the US in terms of education and infrastructure.  Yet they both have ample natural resources and arable land.  Mexico's economy has grown better than Brazil's in the post WWII years, with its lower tariffs.

Couple things,

First, tariffs are neither good or bad, they are a weapon in the ongoing economic war between countries. Yes, it is a war, just not with bullets. The failure of our politicians to negotiate on our country's behalf has produced a huge imbalance. Some countries impose 5 times the tariffs on us that we do on them. (China for instance) This is a tax on our companies for access to their markets. On top of that there are way more restrictions on our companies then ever thought about here. In addition the EU has suddenly began using laws to fine our companies when they want money (Microsoft, Apple Google etc) Think of ways to fund their social programs....

Second the current election has many using this topic as a club to frighten people is all. In fact on CNBC the other day a very well know Wharton Professor kind of debunked a lot of what has been said. (much to the chagrin of the moderator, I believe he called it over an exaggeration)
