Allen Robinson a top 5 wr?..

Quote:Not even an argument for Brandon Marshall and Demaryius?

Last year Marshall and Robinson were mirror images of eachother. Robinson is a year closer to his prime age, Marshall is a year further from it. Give me Robinson.

What has Demyrius Thomas done without Manning that would put him over Robinson?

Should of seen what Thomas did with Tebow! Or was that Tebow with that bullet and 80 TD in the playoffs? Hmmm

Thomas had 551 yards and 4 TDs the year Tebow was Denver's QB.

Robinson had 1,400 yards and 14 TD last year.

Try again.

1. Tebow started 14 regulars season games that year.

2. How was Demayrius Thomas' 2011 better than Robinson's 2015?

I asked:

"What has Demyrius Thomas done without Manning that would put him over Robinson?"

You answered by bringing up 2011 Demayrius Thomas scoring a TD.

That's how I react when you a blatantly wrong about stuff like saying Tebow didn't play until week 6 the year Thomas caught that TD. Google could be your friend.

Are you talking about the 4 passes he completed in the SD game?  You are like talking to a brick wall, I guess I need to be crystal clear with you.  They were 1-4 before Tebow took over as the starter and help lead them to the playoffs to beat Pitt. with his 316 yrds passing game 2 TDs 0 ints

Back to ARob though. I think he will be a top 5 WR this year

Without Manning? What has ARob done without Bortles?

Why is that rabbit hole even part of this discussion?

1. We already have evidence of how Thomas plays without Manning.

2. Thomas will be without Manning in 2016.

3. We have no evidence of how ARob would be without Bortles.

4. ARob will be with Bortles in 2016.

I mean, if that's seriously your angle, then why stop there?

What has Green done without Dalton?

What has Jones done without Ryan?

What has Cooper done without Carr?

It's a lame little red herring.

My angle? I only mentioned Bortles as an attempt to suggest you can't use the qb for an angle. That is, you can't just say "without Manning."

Besides, he didn't do that bad with Osweiler. In Osweiler's 7 starts, Demaryius put up 37 catches for 488 yards (13.2 ave) with 5 TDs.

The QB angle is relevant to Thomas because Thomas is no longer with the QB the made him a top 5 WR. Also, I don't think Demayrius Thomas is bad. I'd still have him at the back end of my top 10. He's in the Evans/Jeffery/Watkins range for me. He's still a great WR. He just isn't as good as Allen Robinson IMO. Robinson just put up 1,400 yards and 14 TDs in his second year in the league as a 22 year old. He gets credit for that.

Watkins would be a beast with a better QB

Watkins is absolutely already a beast. Over 1k yards and 9 TDs despite missing 3 games and having 1/3 fewer targets than Arob. Same YPC, Virtually the same TD/G. Far better reception %. Had to deal with Tyrod Taylor, yes he's very underrated but no one here would say he's remotely in the same class as Bortles, and even EJ Manuel (lol) for two games.

It's not hard to make a case that Watkins had a better season than Arob last year.

I'd put ARob squarely in the top 10, but considering he's only done it for one year, at this point I don't feel we can truly rank ARob much higher.

A quick list might look like...

<p style="margin-left:40px;">1. Julio Jones

2. Antonio Brown

3. DeAndre Hopkins

4. AJ Green

5. Brandon Marshall

6. Dez Bryant

7. Demaryius Thomas

8. Odell Beckham Jr

9. ARob

10. Fitz
