NFL.com listed Allen Robinson as a Pro Bowl snub. You gotta love seeing someone in the media has the opinion he should have been voted in. I agree with all of this:

No other receiver has more than 21 such plays. The receiver position is stacked this year, but Robinson had a better season than Calvin Johnson.

I feel pretty confident ARob will go, someone will drop out.

 

I would be surprised if Calvin Johnson plays in the Pro Bowl.   Especially,  since he's been dealing with an ankle injury since the game against the Chiefs in London.

He will go if someone else gets hurt, wins a conference championship game, or simply does not want to play. Simply staying healthy is not good enough for first alternates.

Remember, Arob didn't get snubbed by just the fans. Coaches and players each had 1/3 of vote as well.

I'm not saying Calvin Johnson had a Pro Bowl season.  But did you notice the coverage the Saints used against him last night?   I'll gladly take a 1 catch game from the # 1 WR on the team when 35 points are put on the scoreboard.

1 coach or player vote accounts for more than 1 fan vote. Fans, coaches, and players each have 1/3 of vote. But yes, most voters are fans.

  It's determined by the NFL.   The league counts the fans totals,  players totals,  and coaches totals as equals in the voting process.
