I am not sure about this NH3. We made 2 playoffs appearances after Coughlin, including an over achieving 12-4 record in 07. We weren't cellar dwellers under JDR. If I recall, fans' angst with his era was being 'average'. We finished 2nd in the division the majority of that period. We became laughing stocks post JDR, not post Coughlin, in my view.

And then it all fell apart in 2011, when we drafted Gabbert. 2 coaching changes, 1 GM change, 1 ownership change, several losing seasons, and 1 complete roster blowup later, we're bottom dwellers.

Doesn't the GM Dave Caldwell get to say who is on the roster including the Head Coach in most situations so how could you sell on the QB & HC but keep the GM?


I say we wait and see what happens this year and support all three is that so crazy?
