Senate speeches are typically boring, as is this one considering the source of the words. Senator Cotton is literally using Chuck Schumer's own words against him.

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
I was shocked when I saw that Ted Cruz interview. Nothing I hadn't seen before, but I was aghast at her responses, and, honestly, surprised Ted Cruz didn't ask her WHY she couldn't answer that. There is no reason for them to protect any kind of protocol that allows FBI agents to be bad actors and agitators against US citizens. Do your job and stop entrapping people. There was a day when ole' Mikey would have been against a thing like that.

Ted Cruz didn't ask the follow up question you wanted because such a follow up question reveals a sincere search for knowledge. Cruz was looking to insinuate by his questions. You're right that the undercover FBI agent shouldn't act with total impunity, but I wouldn't call whispering in someone's ear, telling them that now's the time to storm the barricade, is entrapment. This is basic stuff we teach kids, you are responsible for your actions, regardless of peer pressure. I actually want the FBI to be doing this kind of stuff. Just like how the RIAA finally shut down LimeWire by spoofing all the popular files with pure noise. Make it so everyone believes that every meeting has at least one narc in attendance.

People are being charged with trespassing level of crimes because they walked past fencing that had been removed by the said federal agents. So most of these people had no clue they were breaking laws and didn't enter the capital. Also no liberal has been charged, denied bail, etc for entering the capital and even entering the floor while they were in session.(01-12-2022, 05:21 PM)jagibelieve Wrote: This question came up a long time ago but is ignored by the MSM. It's a valid question. The idea of an "insurrection" was drummed into the minds of the sheep on the left. I said from the beginning that it wasn't what the media was saying. It was nothing more than a "mostly peaceful protest" that got out of hand because of a few bad actors. Sent from my SM-T970 using Tapatalk We show less advertisements to registered users. In other words, when Donald Trump said "We're going to the Capitol" he wasn't inciting an insurrection and those who went beyond a peaceful protest are responsible for their own actions, regardless of his influence. Thanks for finally admitting the truth.

Sometimes the FBI breaks the law during undercover investigations. Surprising, I know! Wait til you find out about the highway patrol violating the speed limit! But those who break the law in response aren't excused. Most people, if you tell them, "let's go attack that police barricade!" aren't going to attack it. I'd believe the FBI had anywhere from one to a couple dozen agents in attendance. They didn't have 750 agents there. They're not that big or that talented.

Wait... wait... let me take a go at this: Well, the FBI is not the President of the United States. Ooh... how about this one: The FBI wasn't trying to prevent a democratic process. Yeah... that's the one. There you go, Mikey. I did stupid for you.
Aw man... I was wrong. Personally, I think my stupid is better than your stupid, but you still amaze me. (01-12-2022, 07:44 PM)mikesez Wrote:(01-12-2022, 07:03 PM)Bchbunnie4 Wrote: What an arsenal! Revolutions have occured with nothing more than pitchforks. The Jan 6 insurrectionists were hoping, believing, that the police and military would join them in defying Congress and the Vice President. Very typical pattern in revolutions, the guys with uniforms and guns suddenly switch sides. You would know this if you ever studied any other country's history in any kind of depth.
