Mariota

I only watched the first two throws he made on his first drive, but to me his arm seems below average...

They looked like good throws to me.

#63

He looked better than last week. But I have to say also that the Rams look like the worst team in the league so far.

#64

I just watched Mariota's couple series. The Rams looked bad, but Mariota looked solid. Not amazing, but def improved from their first game. He kind of looked like a mobile Mike Glennon to me.

Still not worried about him being in the AFCS
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

He has Vince Young written all over him. He'll do good at the beginning but once teams get game film on him he'll be struggling to make it in this league.

He had a beautiful throw on the run but for someone who's "the fastest QB since Vick" he doesn't seem to have much escapability once he leaves the pocket

There's straight line speed and 'juke' speed. Vick had more of the latter.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

He ain't Vince. Vince wasn't mentally tough. I don't see that in Mariota.

I hope Tack fans are getting excited about watching MM have success against preseason vanilla defenses. They are about to feel our pain when the season starts.

I checked their board for the laughs. They all believe they're going to sweep us

It's not a shock that fans of another team wouldn't believe their competition is getting better, but the same could be said about us and the titans. I don't see it in Mariota, but last week they ran the ball so well it was surprising. I don't think they win more than 5 or 6 games in 2015 because they're going to get swept by the Jags, colts, and texans, but they could have a better record than we're thinking thanks to getting a weak schedule this year. Against the NFC west and AFC west they'd probably be heading for 2 or 3 wins again.

We have the same "weak schedule" this year.

Ours is even weaker in a way, because we get to play the tacks twice instead of the Jaguars twice. I expect at least 7 wins out of the Jaguars if they remain relatively healthy, Bortles and the offensive line mainly. The titans I can't see winning a lot, but they'll have more of a shot at winning some thanks to the schedule.

With Hoyer quarterbacking the texans it's not ridiculous that the Jaguars sweep the texans too if Bortles keeps on growing the way he has. I at least expect a split with them.

Hey he looked good against the scrubs last night! At least stat wise. Didn't see him actually play.

Drafted him in FFB last night....as my backup.

This power ranking has Jaguars ahead of Titans,

and though Mariota might have a better rookie year than Bortles.

The Jaguars have the better overall QB
