Was it on Lewis or Henne

Kind of sad that he needs a perfect pass so he can catch it. It was a bad throw but it should have been caught.

Quote:Or if he had 4 hands.

I like Marcedes, but he's not the guy you would tag with the "clutch" label.  I would have had more confidence in seeing them go to one of the rookie receivers.

Definitely.

You are entitled to your opinion. It is a huge stretch (literally) to say he should have caught that pass. He did his job and was wide open. It was an awful pass.

The guy can't catch or block, so why is he still employed?

Quote:You're speculating again. How about you dig up that thread where Marcedes states he's unstoppable... lol.

We know Henne missed a wide open receiver. No speculation needed.

It hit the receiver in the hands and he didn't catch it. "Butterfingers Lewis"

Quote:You'd expect your overpaid tight end to catch that, but it was a terrible throw. Henne is to blame.

If you think he's overpaid, why are your expectations not lowered?

We can pretty much assign blame to both parties, indubitably they both suck...there's no debate here.

I'd by this whole impossible catch thing if he was only able to get one hand on it.

He didn't get one hand on it, he got BOTH hands on it. An uncovered TE hit in BOTH hands... Sounds like a drop to me.

So I guess you missed the Eagles game. Both tight ends got wrecked while they were blocking.

Four pages in I think we can all agree on one thing about that play and who is to blame for it: Gus Bradley.

Bortles would have easily made that first down.

Nice rebuttal. Seems legit.

You're a 10 year former pro bowler on a 30+ mill contract. You shouldn't need a perfect pass to convert a crucial 4th down.

I guess you missed Lewis' entire career but, yeah, one game negates a body of work.

Lewis should have caught it. Simple as that. Sad that a 10 yr vet needs a perfectly thrown ball for him to make a 2 yrd catch.
