As I said in another thread, if Blackmon cant get his career back on track then yes, this move makes sense.

Im just surprised he would declare this year. IMO his drops will cause him to go early-mid second.

He's already 23-24 years old I think that played a big factor of why he declared

Quote:I'd rather we trade back with Cleveland get their second first rounder and their second rounder and spend both first rounders on defensive players and the second rounders on a RB and OG.

But that's just me.

Trade back for a less talented player makes no sense at all. You need the best possible players you can get your hands on. Trading back makes your pick less valuable.

Give me twenty bucks and I'll give you a ten and a five back. Is that OK with you?

Use the third pick to draft the best player available regardless of position. Keep using the picks you have to draft the best player available each and every time you pick.

He was only a Sophomore who still needs some polish IMO.

I just read on ESPN he may go late 1st, so there is a good chance he wont be there come 2nd round.

A Matt Jones-esque fraudulent forty time could change all that.

If that is your opinion of him as a seminole fan, then maybe we should stay away from him for the first two rounds

Doubt it. Benjamin dosent look like the type who can put up a fraudulent forty time. He is too lengthy.

I'm sure teams that are in need of a receiver will review his tape and come to the same conclusion unless they get a offer they can't refuse.

For the Jags pick, I wouldn't touch Benjamin with either our 1st or our 2nd round picks

Excellent and circumspect analysis of Kelvin Benjamin by the Steeler Depot guy...

I was just thinking imagine if kelvin went to Detroit! Think that would be perfect to learn from someone with the work ethic of Calvin and it fills a need for the lions

Quote:Williams is a plug in.  Not a long term solution.  We drafted for speed last season and anticipate doing the same this year.  That is how the Seahawks were built --- for speed.
I disagree Williams has the tools and the speed to start Sundays! Williams will get a chance to compete for the job once he is up to speed on the teams offense....I like his upside!
