apparently some people need to be reminded that the ACC is one of the weaker conferences in college football.  some of these guys think FSU has legitimately played a tough schedule. "OH WUT ABOUT #3, #7... WE BEAT THEM BAD DOOD!"

Yes, you beat Clemson and Miami with ease, but lets not skew the fact that neither of those teams are what they were portrayed to be earlier in the year.  Then I'm accused of skewing the facts when I'm actually shedding light on the real FACT that BCS rankings dont freeze the strength of schedule in week 1 or whenever fans please.
Just look at the SOS's. That puts things in perespective. There is a reason some schools almost have to schedule tougher OOC games.

Quote:You really got FSU fans with your bitterness there. What will we ever do? Guess we will just have to watch our team play in the NT game.
why are you quoting me to say the same thing over and over?

if you can't present any factual argument then just ignore it. i basically proved this nole fan wrong and somehow that is bitter. no, just a fact about how SOS works

the nole logic in this thread is so dumb. apparently if you can't delude yourself into believing that FSU beat two top 10 teams, then you are BITTER. lmbo

Just think how bitter he will be when an ACC team wins the national title.

Well considering how bitter badger is now, his head may turn into a grapefruit.

Quote:but the point is that its stupid for an FSU fan to bring that up since they play in the ACC... which is a joke to be honest

Well I wasnt expecting a GatorSEC fan to bring it up anytime soon.

In fact it would have probably been swept under the rug.

Quote:not really, UF hurt them this year, other than that the ranking is deserved.

So UF could have said that for about 5-6 years straight?

It's called ups and downs.  FSU has had a lot more downs recently than ups.

Well, in your post you said we could have been ohio state this year had we not played florida (and a tough out of conference team).  florida certainly didn't help our schedule and was probably the 4th worst team on it.

Most Nole fans realize we didn't have a tough schedule.  It was the way in which we beat teams.  Before ohio states loss, we weren't compared to them because we beat all of our opponents by such a wide margin.  ohio state played close games against Northwestern (65th), Iowa (34th), Penn State (7-5 team, unranked I guess because of suspension) and Michigan (41st).
