What were the odds when Rutherford B. Hayes won his election the same way? Three of three states had to reverse their vote in a re-count, and all three did. Hayes went to bed on election night thinking he lost, but after weeks of controversy, he ended up winning the most contested election in history.

The counting and recording of votes is much different since 1877...The likelihood that the votes were miscalculated to the extent of overturning the winner is pretty slim in 2016...I could see back in 1877 and before it easily being manipulated  without any notice

Im seeing some kind of wallet sized card that one could easily carry on the person, maybe made of plastic. Hey, maybe it could have your picture on it and you'd have to get a new one every few years. We could use it for all kinds of things like banking, driving, flying...seems to have all sorts of every day uses. Sounds racist and hard to implement though.
