Yeah, I was there. Just as have been since the beginning. There was not but maybe 50-55 thousand in that place yesterday. I don't give a damn what they said was sold.

We have to keep in mind that ALOT of fans to which attended the game was unseen. Some were inside of the Us Assure Club, some were watching the game at the Amphitheatre (a hand full) while others were in their Cabanas. There were more fans that attended the game then were seated within the stadium.

He's been terrible since entering the NFL. I doubt he can even beat out Henne for the backup job. He'll be nothing more than a cheerleader from the bench and if he does enter games, we'll be begging to see Bortles back in.

This also begs the question, "Why did we let Allen go, if we were gonna end up carrying 3 QB's anyway?" I thought we released Allen, because we didn't wanna carry 3 QB's on the active roster?

Your basing this on fiction, Allen sucks dude yall need to get over him.

Here are the numbers

Brandon Allen Career Preseason numbers 5 TD 6 INTS

Ryan Nassib Career Preseason numbers 10 TDs 4 INTS

So in two preseasons Allen managed to throw more picks then Nassib did in 5 preseasons

I like it...

Keeping the fuego coming.

1. See what you have done Jacksonville?  We've signed a mercy free agent. That's TC's old backup QB. This isn't good.

2. Did you really just say that Ryan Nassib is better than RGIII and CK? What in the blue hell is going on around here?

3. Someone said they are trying. HOW?!?!?! RYAN FREAKIN NASSIB????!?!?!!!?? ARE YOU FREAKIN SERIOUS??!?!?

Lets go over Ryan Nassib's stats...

Ryan Nassib ESPN stats

Wallbash Wallbash  Oh yea, that guy is awesome. Championship!!  Laughing Laughing

Should've just kept Allen if this was the case.

Let me say though... I wouldn't want to sign Kap.

However... we definitely should have held on to BA if they were going to freak out and make a move like this.

I don't even care if he knows the playbook. Fielding Bortles or Henne is handicapping your team at this point. We are wasting our season with either of them. The sign of all signs should have been Blake's response to the team picking up the option..

"I'll never see that money."

As soon as that came out, the team should have been making other plans. If he knew, why'd we need to wait for him to prove it in two underwhelming outings?
Only a chump boos the home team!

I would much rather he come in for Bortles if Blake is benched then Henne, Henne is worst then Bortles

From what I see when he got in the game he a accurate tho it was a small sample size, also a 62% completion guy in college which is always good when they are over 60.

He's not the same QB he was in college. I actually liked him at Syracuse, but since entering the NFL, he's like a deer in headlights. He locks onto receivers, can't read a blitz and holds the ball too long. So far, the NFL has overwhelmed him.

What game did you watch to make this determination? Eli literally never misses a game. He has thrown like 10 regular season passes.

And how can anyone say he's trash. He is an unknown. He backed up Eli who never misses games. The little he's done is encouraging. That's as worst as anyone can say.

He was unemployed.. and not because rich guys in suits were tired of his disrespect for the National anthem. That should tell you something about his talent level.

I mentioned this in another thread.  The upper deck on the east side was extremely sparse, and the west upper deck was only marginally better in the center of the deck.  The lower bowl was never completely full either.  I think you can chalk SOME of that up to the hurricane and what people are dealing with right now.  While the seats may have been sold, it's still expensive to attend a game.  People are having to fork out thousands of dollars to deal with damage caused by the storm.  That certainly has to cut into the entertainment budgets for some folks.  So there probably was a segment of the fan base that simply didn't have the resources this week to attend the game with everything else they're dealing with.

The attendance was definitely disappointing, but the crowd still wanted something to cheer for.  Unfortunately, the team found a way to snuff that out.

From what they showed on TV it was sparse. Must have picked that spot to rub it in.

I think if anything they put Bortles inactive and have Henne play with Nassib being qb2. Why not just sign Kaepernick and have a fun season??

They obviously don't want the publicity with Kaep.

How can this team NOT want the publicity with Kaep? We are the smallest market, most irrelevant team in the league, all publicity is good.

Doug Marrone signing his college star.

Cuz it always works out when a former college coach signs his college boy in the NFL.

I think if they yank Bortles (except this week), it will Nassib and not Henne.

The stadium started emptying out with 10 minutes left in the third quarter.  By the time the bell was being rung for the 4th quarter, the place was practically a ghost town.

don't blame the crowd one bit.

Your hate is showing bro.

I'm clearly talking about Ryan Nassib in the "Jaguars sign Ryan Nassib" thread.

Bortles isn't getting cut so anyone saying that can stop.

They are going to do what the Skins did with RG3. Just not dress him on Sundays. Henne and Nassib will be the 2 QBs every week.

I honestly don't know what to think of this signing. Somewhat bummed that this has happened so early in the season because it's a desperation move but it's not like Blake hasn't been given chances. He's been given more than any other QB I can remember. He wasn't very good against Houston and was flat out terrible yesterday. He can't hit receivers on simple crossing patterns. That throw to Lee yesterday was inexcusable. Lee had a lot of green in front of him and Blake throws it so far behind him. How does that still happen in your 4th year?!

We all knew Bortles was done after this season but it could be happening in the next couple of weeks. All aboard the Darnold/Rosen/Allen/Jackson/Rudolph train.

Rosen/Rudolph train for me
