AJ Bouye traded (merged)

Problem is now we have another gaping hole. 1 FA CB and 1 in the draft? 2 in the draft?

(03-03-2020, 06:09 PM)D-Money Wrote: What? Who are you talking about? Our rookies, Ramsey, Yan, Jack? Calais, Bouye played good the following year. There were only like 2 players on the defensive side of the ball the regressed bad but we saw there weknesses in the 2017. Barry Church, maybe T.Gip or Malik Jackson, Poz was slowing down down a little, but you build  on Everyone else that you have, free agency and draft to shore up weak position, not let everyone go and try to justify. The front office made the most mistakes and have not been accountable for [BLEEP].

I understand a short window but the whole D should not be gutted by the 3rd year, that is the front office making a lot of mistakes and they are still here [BLEEP] up the team

And Tre Herndon sucks, I don't know why people keep acting like we have one of the cb positions locked down with him. He was getting abused in live play, not analytics. Please don't try to see he was anywhere near the level of Bouye

My issue now is, if we are blowing up the team, blow up the team coaches and all....we need a complete haul, get Caldwell and Marrone the [BLEEP] outta here asap.

Also don't take this personal, I'm venting because I feel like with no experience as a gm, alot of our fans could have done a better job.. this is crazy. We might really have a 30 for 30 on us

With the moves this team is making and the approach they seem to be taking, I have no doubts Khan has told them they have at least 2 more years.

Yeah doesn't seem to be a one year deal. Ugh this team. I would love to be excited about Minshew but I have a feeling the team is going to break him.

Didn't Dave get a 4th for Gabbert too? Man is a genius at this part of being a GM. The others..not so much

That's the general consensus.  The Jags get an extra pick for a guy they were gonna cut, like many here have said.  The main board has been a month long [BLEEP] fest that keeps on rolling, but I can't see complaining about this move one bit.

Just smh at this point. 3 years later with too many excuses to count. This roster was blown up on D and now we look like [BLEEP]. I renewed my season tix because im loyal to my team even after they continuously spit at me because if they leave im done with football. Khan is full of [BLEEP] and i dont even care to debate the fans who agree with any of this bs thats been going on. Ill keep saying it. Pay me 1 mil a year and ill make caldwell look like the [BLEEP] he is. I cant say ill be the best ever but this FO is asinine
Season Tix, Section 409

2023 and still counting.....SB will finally be ours soon enough.

If we are able to trade Yannick, this is gonna be one of the funest offseasons in a while

Some of you are giving the FO a bit more credit then they deserve here. This is the most basic of all trades, there is nothing amazing about it.

Bouye is a quality starting CB on any team, he was never going to be cut, he never would have made it that far. There were no doubt 31 other teams interested in him and would have traded something for him. Denver obviously offered the most. It was never as if we would have gotten nothing for Bouye.

At least we didn't get fleeced, decent deal both teams.

Well we can't be called The Factory of Sadness, that is still Cleveland's name... But why don't we just steal it and make it our own? The Jaguars have never been good at coming up with their own names and just make terrible puns of others... The Teal Curtain... Cardiac Cats... Seattle South...

So can we just call ourselves The Factory of Shadness?

This is how I look at these trade situations. No 4th rounder is gonna come in and do what Bouye did.

Wow. What a pathetic offseason.

Yeah, that's the sad part.

Bouye has been pretty meh the last 2 seasons so a 4th for him is not that bad at all.

I'm not sad about clearing up space and getting picks. I'm sad about the guy(s) making them.

I can just see Tony emailing Dave his latest spreadsheet and going into his office before he has even had a chance to check his email and talking about his new and improved formula for the draft and free agency this year.

It makes my stomach turn.

If they get rid of Yan, is this the least talented roster in the league?

If we get Brown or Kinlaw this Dline will still be one of the best in the league
And?

My questions was if this is the least talented roster in the league. Maybe the Jets are worse but that may be it.

I know.
Just imagine how exciting these moves and all those draft picks would be if we had a competent GM and good HC to develop the talent...

Gotta love "Mr. Khan" for keeping these 2 clowns.
They even kept Wash lmao

This move will put us 33 million under the cap. And we will probably be making a few more moves with Lee, Swaim, and potentially Calais.

I hope we don't. The jags rarely do FA well.

They hot in 07.  They are going to have to get a few to fill some holes. Dave and Doug's job is on the line so I guarantee they are not looking at this like a rebuild
