Well, he is slow and cannot get separation with pads. So I’m only half way surprised. I would have kept him too though, because he could develop into a redzone threat.

Problem with Johnson is we’ve had multiple receivers sitting out of practice and games and you still haven’t heard any mentions of plays he’s made, so it’s fairly obvious he hasn’t been making any in training as well as games

I did however think it would be him or treadwell didn’t think they’d both be cut

Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency. 


1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

This team needs WRs that can separate quickly, as Trevor can not wait too long behind this line. Collin, unfortunately, is not a good fit and is not a ST contributor.

A lot of interesting names getting cut this year. I liked what I saw from Collin Johnson last year but he seemed to fall out of favor. Not a huge surprise as it stands today but before training camp started I would have been. Dorsett getting cut though does surprise me. I thought he had locked in that 5th spot. He and Costin I didn't see coming.

Well, I should of said... that he took his pads off so early. I sort of took that as a "he made the team" type gesture. Apparently they had seen enough and just said, nah man ... take the pads off lol.
