Made me find him way less arrogant and more approachable. It's such a shame he's a free thinker and not a lemming like your lot.

But it's hilarious to hear people talk about someone's arrogance while basically being arrogant little twits. Like your opinion on the vax, the NFL rules, and what Rodgers should or shouldn't say matters at all. Bahahaha

I've met people of all walks of life, races, creeds, political standing, and professions (including nurses and doctors) who are anti THESE vaxes. But yeah he's a giant [BLEEP]. Give me a break.

Oh christ the amount of posters on here we could say the same about...  Rolleyes
so you didn’t like Rodgers before but now you like him because he said something you agree with….. interesting.

Not what I said. Public education system fails another one folks.

I've been watching McAfee for awhile. Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays has been a thing for a season and a half now. I basically had my mind made up based on news reports that he was an arrogant prick years ago. Then I started watching him on Tuesdays and found my opinion of him changing. Months ago, not because of this one thing.

Interesting indeed how an opinion of someone can change when you actually get to know the personality of the person as opposed to other people's opinions and reports on him.

And as per people talking about punishments... yes he'll likely be fined as he should since yes he broke a singular rule (wearing masks at pressers) no he shouldn't be suspended and no it isn't the same as PEDs or air pressure, that's cheating the game. Definitely not apples to apples. It's more equivalent to CeeDee not wearing his socks properly.

Well you didn't state this lol

It appeared your opinion of him changed after that one episode. All good.

Then, man up and deal with protocol that was established.

If you know anything about my position on this vaccine, you know that I think MOST of these policies are asinine. That said, don't lie and then shift your position afterwards. That's weak sauce, man. I think the NFL should punish him, not for failing to take the vaccine, but for lying.

Plenty of people (educated medical people, many of whom have been silenced) actually say Vitamin D, Ivermectin and many other things DO help protect you. There's also an argument to be made about whether the vax actually protects you as much as they claim. And as a matter of fact the newest pill they are getting ready to push is essentially an expensive form of Ivermectin. He's neither a liar nor a moron. He's smarter than probably 90% of the [BLEEP] hats on here.

He said immunized because he didn't want to lie and through his research he found some evidence that what he did would help protect him from Covid. He was not vaxxed and while he tested positive he was essentially asymptomatic so perhaps his stuff did help him? Also, from what I understand the only person he really could have gotten it from was probably a vaxxed player, due to these protocols.

Think what you want about the guy... He is certainly a certain type of personality... and that definitely rubs soft people the wrong way but I'll back this move, this interview, and his approach til I'm blue in the face. He'll likely be fined 50k and you guys are all just gonna have to get over it because the dude didn't cheat, he didn't lie, and he didn't hurt anyone.

Wait. What? By saying he was immunized, he was lying lol

If he had said he wasn't immunized, that would be telling the truth because he was in fact, not immunized.

Take whatever you want to prevent Covid but unless it's an actual vaccine, you can't say you're immunized.

I don't even hate Rodgers. I actually like him but he basically thought he could say he was immunized early in the year and then hoped no one would ever find out. He got Covid, was caught in his lie and then had to come up with a ton of excuses for why he didn't take it and basically blame everyone but himself. He used all the hot button phrases like "woke mob", "cancel culture" and "Joe Rogan" to get one side to champion him and another side to hate him. Then those two sides fight it out and forget about him lol Pretty smart.

So because he's allergic to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccine he's a bad person? This is a strange world we live in.

I have zero issue with A. A. Ron choosing not to get the shot(s). But if he chooses to do so, he should be held to the same protocols the rest of the league is held to. Has he been masking up on sidelines? Has he been avoiding social gatherings of >3 players as the league mandated?

no.

Has there been disciplinary action taken for those infractions?

also no.

He could've just admitted he wasn't vaccinated and followed the protocol, but no, he lied so he could flaunt the rules. Now he wants to pretend he's got an allergy, but I'm sure that's as real as some the spiritual conversions folks are doing to claim that deeply held religious belief exemption.

And actually, I was referring to Roger's condition after he leaves the Owner's Meetings.

He never said he got the vax. Therefore he did not lie. His vax status, medical history, what he's allergic to, none of anyone's business really. However the league and team knew he wasn't vaxxed and allowed him to continue doing pressers unmasked.

Must be a shame to be such a sad pathetic (and based on your jokes immature) person such as yourself.
Get over it. The vax doesn't work and the scamdemic isn't going anywhere as long as people are profitting from it. But be a lemming if you want. No one is hassling you about being a sheep who will need some "booster" shot for life.

I know you probably didn't actually watch his McAfee interview otherwise you might make more educated statements.
Ah who am I kidding, you making educated statements is like Urban Meyer being a good NFL coach.

(11-06-2021, 08:17 AM)flsprtsgod Wrote: Bull [BLEEP], it's not a 100% mandate. He could've just said he was allergic back then and followed the protocol. But he didn't, he lied about being vaxxed then and he's lying now for the sole purpose of flouting the rule, that is the issue.
Again he didn't lie about being vaxxed. He did inform the NFL about his allergy and he doesn't have to explain that to some doofus reporters.

You assume he's lying because you don't want to be wrong. But you are. And your lame attempt at virtue signaling is sickening.

You're making this a personal issue. Would your response be less vitriolic had fsg used the word "misled" instead of "lied"?

Step back from your emotional attachment to the pandemic and vaccination and answer this; Should a player in the league be expected to follow the league's protocols? What exceptions do you make? Do those exceptions then open the door for the rest of the league to circumvent the structure the league has set for its membership?

If these protocols are ok to be broken, what does this say about things like PED use? media availability? adhering to a salary cap?

Hard to follow your run on sentence. Did you say you have cut off everyone in your life who chose not to get vaccinated? Is that what "stupid about this vaccine" means? Not getting it?

No he didn't say he was vaccinated. So he didn't lie. He went through a personal medical treatment program that shows to be as effective as a shot that isn't preventing the getting or transmitting of Covid even after boosters.

He didn't lie. Sorry. He used alternative language that stupid people wouldn't follow up on. He never claimed to be vaccinated. Our awesome journalists didn't and now they big mad they were duped. Or "misled"  Rolleyes

I so look forward to Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays on McAfees show. It stirs up the news cycle more than aaaaanything. It overshadows OBJ, Arnette, Ruggs, and whatever else every week.

Next week Rodgers says a hot dog is a sandwich and breaks the internet again.

He just apologized for lying. Taking something that boosts your immune system does not immunize you against anything. He was trying to get around the NFL's protocols.

Yep, if there's no teeth to the rule then why bother? Just stop all the restrictions and move on.

Who said I'm angry?

I'm just stating a fact about what happened. And I agree. The NFL has to do a better job with all of this.
