If You Could Spend One Month in Another City

I think one would go to a place with things that interest them. If you love surfing, you might want to spend a month on the North Shore of Oahu. If you just want to escape the world, you might want to go to Wyoming or someplace like that.
Me personally, I like art, history, food, museums, really all the things you would have in certain big cities. So I would probably tend towards a big European city. My day would consist of maybe one thing, maybe a particular art museum or historical site or interesting place, and the rest of the day just wandering around, or sitting in a sidewalk cafe, drinking and people watching. I'd have an apartment where I could go take a nap if I wanted to, in a place where I could walk out my front door and see something interesting. I'd go to the vegetable market and get some healthy food. I might take a morning walk and just discover things. I'd soak up the atmosphere. I think the best places for me might be Rome or Paris- someplace that is worth spending a whole month. That's the way I would do it.
Quote:That's the most beautiful city I've ever visited. That would be a contender, because it checks all the boxes: art, architecture, great food, public parks, historical sites, lots of things to do. Agreed. I was there for 10 days last summer. I didn't even begin to scratch the surface.

It has all of the things that you listed that you like, yet it's not a big city. A while back a friend of mine and I went down there just to basically bar-hop and kill some time. We came across one museum that was truly fascinating and is one of my favorite places to take visiting family members to. The artifacts and stories behind them is very interesting. It's also amazing to me how much history and how many unique museums are just a short drive away. Take Keystone Heights for example. My point is, everything that you listed could be found by not going to a "city". It's pretty much right in your back yard. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

It's very nice but did they have to turn every building in St George Street into an ice cream parlor or a pirate themed restaurant? I seen them in the bottom of a bottle of Vodka last week, they were naked, so they probably lived there. Quote:And stay at the Trump Resort They have the best Taco's ... this side of the wall.
