Has he practiced at all? He arrived one week ago, so what has he been doing in the past week?


Maybe he didn't pass his physical? Which I know sounds crazy because just a couple of months ago, he came to minicamp in good shape after dropping some weight.

He's dealing with a divorce. He's handling his business and not rushing into a meaningless preseason game. Snaps are going to young guys who have to prove it this year (contract years). Not that bad of a thing.

The time to worry about LEO was when we only brought in one.

 

Even with a healthy Fowler, it would have been a group extremely short on experience.

 

Not the best state for the second most important position on the field.

I ain't even worried.

We got 45 last year without Fowler.

8 of those came from Clem.

 

Increased production from the other guys will counteract any fall off from Clem. I still suspect we'll get around 40ish sacks.

 

When Fowler returns maybe we'll crack 50 like the best of the lines.

Can't bring in 3 LEOs every season.


Especially since not every DE, in the draft or free agency, fits the LEO role.
