There are upgrades out there. You've gotta hit on a pick or spend some money, but there's probably 18-20 NFL teams out there right now with better left tackles than Cam Robinson. If they found one, we can too.

He's a slightly above average run blocking LT that is quite a bit less talented in protection. 

There are upgrades out there. You've gotta hit on a pick or spend some money, but there's probably 18-20 NFL teams out there right now with better left tackles than Cam Robinson. If they found one, we can too.

Cam instantly make our offense better and it shows everytime he plays. I dont care about your take on his 'run blocking' you have a biased opinion on that - and this team is a drop back offense under Doug Pressederson.

Yes he does.

But that's because everyone behind him has just been THAT poor, except Little who's been about equal in pass pro but worse in run blocking.

That doesn't make Cam a top tackle, it makes him the best option we have at LT. Cam's biggest asset is the intangible things. His demeanor/nastiness on the line more than his actual ability which is serviceable. God I would kill for an entire OL of "serviceable" talent right now.

At this point, you have to keep him and fix the even bigger holes at LG/C and potentially RG depending on if we keep Scherff, he retires, etc.

It's not a question of if Cam is upgradeable, he absolutely is. It's a matter of we have much bigger problems on the OL before we even get to LT.
