Let's Talk About- Political Edition

Didn't the Democrats propose limiting illegal crossings to 5,000/day several months ago when trying to get a budget passed?  1,825,000 illegal entries per year is their compromise number!  How much greater is the actual count?  Supporting Biden/Harris IS defending them on this issue.
Those who enter legally, but stay, are a problem, but we know who they are.  We can find and deport them, if we so choose.  It's just a matter of having the political will to get the job done and it will never happen under a Democratic administration.

That would have been an act of Congress.
Those would have become legal crossings.
Most of us can agree that we continue to need legal immigration, and many of us would say that we could even use a little more than we have now.
And all of us should say that's there should be no acceptance of illegal immigration.

So logically speaking, what almost all of us want is to allow a few more people across the border legally, and then make a very strong effort to make sure no more than that number crosses.

The real problem is no one trusts any Democrat to make that kind of effort, and very few trust Republicans either.

There is only one way to say that with a meaningful impact.  Will you make that statement on Nov. 5th?
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I'm glad I got a new roof on my house before Trump could export those 10 million Mexicans, because without those Mexicans, it would probably take a year to get a new roof. And a lot of other stuff, too.

They're not idiots or stupid.  This is intentional and thought out.  I hesitate to escalate rhetoric, I really do, but I'm not sure how you get around this not being an "enemy of the people" type move, and by people I mean existing citizens of that state as well as citizens of these United States as it affects everyone directly or indirectly.

That's why I called them what I did..

Do you support employers using illegal workers all the time, or only when it benefits you personally?

It's a [BLEEP] predicament, ain't it? LOL. To be picky and choosey when we want to have cheap labor used for our needs Vs. the long term downside for the greater good.

This would apply to a few things though. Hard labor in particular. Roofing, concrete work, painting, landscaping, etc. I don't buy into the whole wait and see thing though, nor, the price tag.

You can always get a quote and ask around for competitive pricing and deals with other contractor's. It's not new or groundbreaking by any means.

It's pretty racist to assume that only illegals work on houses. It's pretty classist to assume that only illegals will work on houses.

Typical leftist ideology. Straight out of Kelly Osbourne's playbook.

I mean, honestly, I don't understand why people even try to entertain their ideals of thinking. Their opinions and way of voting threw this country into a downward spiral, completely out of control. Their opinions are garbage and I quit listening to them for how wrong and foolish they were.. I wipe my [BLEEP] with their opinions and feelings.

I'm just saying... if we export 10 million Mexicans, it's going to have an effect.  And we're all going to feel it.

But I'm not endorsing employing illegal aliens.

This has been actually going on for years, perhaps decades.  I remember helping my father when they were building the current house that they live in some 15 years ago or so.  I was helping him rough in all of the electrical.  The framers were there at the same time and I don't think that a single one of them spoke English other than their foreman.  They did good and amazing work and weren't union employees who had to have their breaks at a certain time for a certain time.  I witnessed one of them ask my father if he would rather arch the entry into a hallway rather than just having it rectangular.  My father told him "sure" and I watched this guy do it just by eye without a tape measure and it came out perfectly.

Yes, Mexican labor is usually a lot less expensive and the final product is most of the time better than what would be produced by union labor.  The difference is that they take pride in their craftsmanship and are not "entitled" like so many today.  They are simply grateful to have a job and be able to earn for themselves and their families.

These aren't the people that President Trump is talking about deporting, and I can almost certainly guarantee that they didn't come here on vacation and over stay their visas.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

You moderates need to start getting your head on straight. I realize our cudgeling of you isn't helping, but, I mean, what has to be shown to you for you to wake up? The establishment is corrupt. Stop supporting it. We, the People, made this country. We can do it again, but not if we let every fiber of Americanism erode from our ethos. That's where we're heading. It's insane to keep supporting this machine. You're not considering a vote for Kamala. You're not even considering it. The truth is you're voting for the machine. That's it. You know it. We know it. The blowback you're getting is because you just won't accept that the machine is hurting regular Americans.

Where does the 10 million Mexicans number come from?
