Clearly, these sacks of Newton have nothing to do with the 49ers leading the game.
If something can corrupt you, you're corrupted already.

The Panthers are basically toast now.
http://youtu.be/VrKaioiM1jE?t=9s Now time for a shower to rid myself of the filth of rooting for the 49ers. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Newton was more than capable of throwing it away many times.
Anyway, that's the game. Stupid penalty by the Panthers, that just lost them the game.
Quote:Yup just saw the replay. He was the one that missed the tackle as well. I saw him make a tackle after another Panther missed one. Quote:Ugly way to end an otherwise great drive. I would not call that a great drive. Cam Newton was actually sacked twice, but one did not count because of HTH contact. But it was definitely entertaining. I gave up on Carolina after that interception. Quote:Newton takes too many sacks. It is called 49ers defense. Navorro Bowman is a beast. Cam was good at getting the ball out more often than not when he was under pressure.
Quote:Newton was more than capable of throwing it away many times. He did not throw it away. He completed passes with linebackers in his face. Quote:He did not throw it away. He completed passes with linebackers in his face. I'm talking about his back to back sacks that knocked both him and his team out of field goal range. He had time on both plays, and took sacks on both. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Cam gets too visibly down when they zoom into his face on the sidelines. He needs to learn to keep his emotions under control. On a side note, the towel that he wears over his head which he tucks into his jersey as if it's a cowl is very annoying to me. Maybe it's just me.

That is nothing compared to what Jim Harbaugh did after the RTP penalty.

Quote:Jim gets fired up. Cam gets depressed Yep...big difference.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
Quote:Newton was more than capable of throwing it away many times. My overall take of this game is the Panthers lack of playoff experience as a team, compared to the playoff seasoned 49ers, was the biggest difference in the outcome. The Panthers lost their composure repeatedly. The 49ers were aware of this and coaxed the Panthers into making more mistakes. That helped put them behind by double digits, which played to the 49ers strengths on both sides of the ball. As a result, the sacks by the 49ers Defense didn't come as a suprise. Yep, I can agree with this. The 49ers got into the Panther's heads. It was actually pretty impressive to watch. |
