Rumoured 2017 season London game..

#81

Quote:Oh absolutely. My wife and I went to the festivities in 2015. They close off one of the major streets in central London and basically have a party the day before the game! They also do open training sessions too. It's great that we get that kind of exposure and I'm hoping that everything falls right for my son to experience that too!

What were your favorite festivities when you and your wife attended?

I loved the stuff on Regent Street. They close off the whole street and have the cheerleaders, past players and basically a huge party. It's really good fun.

Quote:That sucks...another early bye week.

We're 1-13 in September over the past 4 seasons.

An early Bye week only prevents another early loss.

And what if our London game is in October?

I hate the early season London games.

The only chance I have to go to a home game, is early/mid October.

The play in London the first week I am down there, then the bye.

I hate London games, period. Never liked the idea to play an international series. Especially when they were being played at 9:30 ET.

I don't mind the 9:30 part, you get to drink beer before noon on Sunday!

I hate getting up early and know a lot of other people do too. Also, look at who went there this season: a team in California, where kickoff is at 6:30 a.m.!

Boohoo. What about prime time games kicking off here at 1am on school nights?

You're crying about 4 NFL games (all of which are generally poor matchups) being played in London that happen to kick off at the inconvenient time of 6:30am on the west coast, where there are 3 prime time games each week that kick off at 1am here.

Basically, deal with it

Only fans in the UK can say stuff like this.

...And the rest of Europe, of course.

Well....yes.

and you're sounding argumentative and arrogant again.

He's a UK NFL fan and wants to watch the US games......so he has a much harder time zone  problem than we do here in the EST.

Oh, and the west coast teams make time to adjust going there......probably easier on them than coming to the east coast.

I was thinking of Rams fans who had to watch the game on TV. Also, many fans all over the country don't have the time or money to travel to London. Nobody in Europe is going to sympathize with them, of course.

It's not that I don't sympathise, but it's 4 games a year out of 256 regular season games.

In fairness, I actually preferred it when the London games kicked off locally at 6pm which was 1pm ET but the NFL saw an opportunity to now have 4 games on a Sunday which I hear people enjoy

You are not seeing the bigger picture from a Jacksonville Jaguars perspective.
