And no 2016/2017 Bortles is not as good at throwing deep as 2015 Tyrod.

Peterman pick 6 on his 3rd throw. Rough start for the guy supposedly better than Typed. As is expected for a rookie playing a key game against the chargers.
16/17 Bortles deep numbers are higher than TT 16/17 deep numbers.

They sure are, Tyrod has been bad throwing deep this year, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, that's not what the argument was about though.

He said that Bortles worst year throwing deep is better than any year of Tyrods. It was incorrect.

2 picks by Peterman now. Weird, I was told Tyrod was worse than him.

But if you really think about it only one of Peterman's 8 attempts has actually hit the turf so far so maybe it's not that bad. Ok, it's that bad.

Billsfan, do you think the genius Bills front office is working on a new 5 year deal for Peterman as we speak?

2016/17 Bortles is ahead of him.

Deep passes are usually 20-25+ yards. That's where my stats come from. Tyrod threw the highest % in 2015 and was one of the best at it.

The numbers in using to compare them in 16/17 are air yard charts, which I guess don't tell the whole story with the deep ball

Between Peterman and osweiler on tv right now, I am wondering why some teams even bother to try to pass the ball.

I put money on Denver because they said they were starting Lynch.

Air yards are better when measuring deep passes just important to remember that 15 yards isn't a deep ball.  + Guys throwing deep in greater volume are naturally going to have more air yards.

I dont think Taylor is good, its clear that Peterman wasnt ready though.

There isnt any doubt the Bills will be drafting a QB this year and probably in the 1st. Just another QB needy team ahead of us in the draft.

5 picks in one half? Could that half go any better for Tyrod? I like him, he has a lot of upside but if he doesn't come out for the 2nd half surely the Bills are in tank mode.

That's something i think has been lost in our wonderful season. The upcoming draft and FA could be a QB heavy year and like you say, plenty of teams need a good QB, but we won't be having our customary top 5 pick. Does that mean we stick with Bortles, make a run at a FA or try and trade our way back up?

Guess worse comes to worse our wild card chances are going up with the Bills giving up.
