Getting it done in a big game like this is great for his resume. He has limitations for sure but his overall game will translate.

Should be noted that Oklahoma's defense is abysmal

People thought Brees had limitations as well when he came out.  All he is going to do is set pretty much every record

Lol at that false start

Almost always looks for the deep ball first and knows how to read a defense and the blitZ

He is a lot better at reading defenses than BB. Dropping balls in his receivers' hands with precision. Fast release, tight spirals. We could use this kid.

Damn Brown is good, trying to look like his cousin A B

I like that he loves the deep ball and has great accuracy on them as well

Wow

I’d previously commented I was in the fence with him. I’d take him at this point. Release is solid, accuracy has been good, and can actually read a defense. If he’s there at our pick and we don’t take him I’d be giving up on the Jags.

Wow

He would be the best throwing QB this team has ever had. We've played so long with a restricted game plan/play book...I can't imagine how much different our offense would look.

Yeah Brees turning into a top 10 all time QB doesn't mean you can ignore limitations though. It's part of his game (even though I like him a ton overall). So it doesn't really mean anything to say that

Yep Grier is officially the divisive player of this draft. Fans want him top 10 frequently, draftniks say he's a day 2 guy that falls in the tier with Lock after Herbert/Jones/Haskins.

I really don't get the love for Jones. To me, he looks like a lifetime backup at best.

If anyone drafts Jones over Groer or Lock they will be out of the league in a couple years

I say Grier in the first , Lock in the 2nd. I'm not playing enough of the b's. Let em battle it out loser becomes trade bait.

Both should go in round 1.

If the Giants take Justin Herbert, the Jaguars may have their choice between Haskins, Grier and Lock. That's not a bad position to be in at this point. Hopefully their evaluation process on these guys will go better than the ones on Leftwich, Gabbert and Bortles. The only good thing about the way this season has gone is that it will make the post-season and draft much more interesting and entertaining. If they actually end up getting the right guy, our fans will look at this season with a completely different perspective.

I believe the ones that drop to round 2 will be Daniel Jones and Tyree Jackson with Finley falling to round 3. That's just my opinion. Lots of teams with immediate QB needs, (Giants, Jags, Bucs, Dolphins, Broncos and the Pats, Chargers and Saints could use a QB of the future.

One question : looking at his rushing stats, he has 48 attemps for -90 yards.... -1.9 yards/rush.

Is it because of the Oline ? Just asking.
