If the locker room has turned their back on him I think it might actually up the chances he gets traded.

Before it would have been like the team was dealing their brother in arms but now it's more like the team is getting rid of a guy that quit on them.

I didn't think the deal the Ravens offered us was bad. I like Hurst. He's been banged up and is a little older but I believe he still has good upside. The only problem is the Ravens will be likely picking low in the draft order so the pick compensation would need to be a little better.

In my dream world, I know Jamal Adams isn't happy in NY, seems like it would be a win/win for both teams if they could work out a trade. Ramsey would get his big city spotlight, and the jags would get an elite player who could immediately step in and help make a potential run in a wide open division.

I have to agree.  Caldwell totally stinks at the top of the draft but is better in Later rounds.

Last 2 jerseys for me have been Cecil Shorts and Blake Bortles. I just ordered my Minshew II Jersey yesterday.

The only jersey I ever bought was Byron Leftwich, right before he got released.  That taught me, if I ever buy another jersey, it'll be a retired player like Boselli or Fred Taylor.

I have a Brunel... Taylor and Bortels...and last year I bought a Ramsey shirt....so between the Bortels jersey and the Ramsey shirt I'm not feeling so lucky.... I've been wanting a defensive jersey but now I'm hesitant...lol

If he is faking an injury, and that becomes obvious, his teammates will turn against him, and his reputation in the league will be forever tarnished. I'm sure some teams will overlook it because talent always wins out, but faking an injury is something that is still a big taboo in the league. It can only hurt his market value.

Trying to justify it by saying he's had back problems his entire career is really odd too. If it's true, why would you share that information that would clearly lower your market value. If not true, again his reputation takes a beating.

Basically, his words and actions do not add up. If he doesn't want to play for the jags again he would do better to just say it. Obviously it would piss off many people, but he'd at least still be respected as a man. Somewhere along the line Jalen is getting some terrible advice. Or he's just singing to his own tune. Either way, doesn't seem logical at all.

Maybe he saw what AB did and thought he could get out of here in a similar fashion- though not quite as nutty. He thought he'd get better trade value from teams and didn't expect Khan to be his stumbling block. Nothing is working out like he thought it would and now he's stuck. Either way this goes as you described, he looks like a chump. 

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt even  though I didn't agree with his reasoning, but no more.  If he's not willing to play he needs to go on that list that keeps him on the roster but forbids him to be anywhere around the team or the facility for the rest of the season. Pretty much everything he has said from not wanting to be a distraction to being there for his guys is bull dung. I'm tired of his crap.

Just out of curiosity, do you know how many GMs from 2013 still have their jobs? I definitely wouldn't say that other GMs don't miss a lot also, but I don't think that many that have missed as many huge picks as Dave has are still around.

The only reason I’m inclined to believe the injury is legit is that it hurts his trade value. No one wants to trade two firsts for an injured CB or a CB faking injuries.

His agent is an idiot or Jalen doesn’t listen to him. He’s been a distraction and has been running his mouth since he was “disrespected”. I can’t imagine any reputable agent would advise him to go pull an AB of sorts.

Honestly, anything is possible at this point, and I don’t think Jalen is above lying to get what he wants.

I also have an inkling Khan received a phone call from the League office 'advising' him to shut Ramsey down to prevent a run of disgruntled players asking for trades; "We ain't the NBA!"
