Is Ramsey’s injury believable?

From this weeks podcast:

Does anyone recall Ramsey missing “Practice for weeks” due to a back issue? What about the “24 hour flu” followed by the cross country red eye to shoot a commercial? I mean a long flight on a bad back must’ve been unbearable.

It’s becoming more and more obvious that he is doing damage control to preserve his image all while doing everything possible to avoid practicing/playing to minimize REAL injury risk.

Soo.. you’re telling me someone who has dealt with basically no injuries, is in extremely good shape, in his prime, just so happens to be experiencing back problems ( an injury you can’t prove/ disprove) right at the same time that he is having issues with the team VP? Anyone who believes this is dumb. I said it. He’s simply playing hardball with the FO and I hope we don’t cave.

Whatever the case. The optics are extremely bad for him. He is basically announcing that he has chronic back issues. That will not help in his quest of 100 million. I do not recall "Weeks " of missed practices ever. All of this coinciding with his trade request points to unbelievable circumstances IMO. The organization is once again walking on eggshells as to not upset the ego, value, and talent that Ramsey brings to the table.

He's only hurting his own stock.

No one in the NFL puts up with fake injuries

Everyone on 1010XL, which is Jags affiliated, doesn't believe it.

Cleatwood is the only one who does.

Did he really fly out to California or wherever and back the same day last Tuesday? That makes this a little less palatable if true.

Probably tweaked his back in that TNF game when Corey Davis got behind him for a chunk play. Last year there were questions circling around his knee or ankle too.

Never believed for a second that it was real, but all I really care about is he going to play on Sunday?

If they put him on IR, does he acrue the year towards FA?

He found an injury that's hard to prove, hard to disprove, sufficiently disabling if true.

Ramsey and Oliver out for Sunday. Marrone says they may be sending Ramsey to a back specialist.

And away we go.....

It's been documented that he was puking, got IV at the facility and.been in rehab at the facility for his back.

The injury is true but is the amount of pain he is that is the biggest question.

It's a believable injury, and there have been games where it looked to me like he was having back problems, but the timing makes it seem like it could be something else. We'll see, he's always said as long as he's here he'd want to play.
