My biggest concern with offensive line of Jaguars…injuries.

Fortner wearing boot after game Sunday
Scherff has sprain
Harrison dealing with shoulder
Little had slight groin injury kept him out of last preseason game.

Good news nothing long term but definitely banged up.

Fortner in a boot? What the [BLEEP]? When did that happen?

These guys are beaten bad. At what point do you start looking for reinforcements and turning the waiver wire or trade block? This is not going to bode well for this team for the long haul.

Yep, this first 4-6 weeks are going to be real dicey until we get our walking wounded and suspended back.  Every team in the league knows this and will not be too motivated to help us out...Wink Those guys had to dig deep in the 4th quarter last week. Let's hope they can again.

Run twin TE sets and Power I 50% of the time. Whatever it takes to get by.

Can we get Linder out of retirement?

Unfortunately with the O-Line in the condition it’s in I think the Chiefs will beat us handily. I won’t say it will be a blow out, but I don’t think they will sweat too much easily. We will see

Can he play guard now.  I may take a Torn ACL Collins over what we have at guard now.

My biggest concern for this game is not offense. Despite the banged up offensive line, I believe the Jaguars will put up around 30 or so on the chief's defense. My concern is Mahomes and the pass rush. This team struggles with mobile QB's. I worry the defense will not be able to get off the field. It will be a big test for Walker/Allen this week.

I mean I'd be willing to take league minimum pay and take one for the team in embarrassing fashion.  But I will throw myself in their way at least.

You may be right. KC is going to be desperate to avoid 0-2 and will have a boost with Jones and Kelce returning. Also sounds like our normal September game heat will be comparatively mild. It will be challenging. I think we can win but if I were betting, I’d expect a 10 point loss. Maybe they’ll surprise us though, this is a very different team than years past even with the patchwork OL.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I think the Jags win in front of the home crowd. Team wants to prove it got over the hump that is KC.
