No Jags to the Pro Bowl (MERGED)

Quote:I call that Pro Bowl money for a Center. I expect Alex Mack to CONTINUE to be paid like a Pro Bowl Center.

OK, that makes sense.

Quote:I was asking D6 why he thinks $42 million is being underpaid for a Pro Bowl center.

He didn't say nothing about under paid.

Lolz

That tells me that he is a legacy vote is what it tells me. Unless every other center in the AFC is trash this year, I have no clue why he made the team.

Wow Reggie Nelson in the pro bowl... Did I die?
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.

Um, you do realize more than one center makes the Pro Bowl, right?

Quote:I think Mack is truly a Pro Bowl center.

Once the Jags sign him, he wont make the pro bowl next year.

I read a few weeks ago he had 7 interceptions, the most of any player in the NFL this season. Of course now an Arizona player has more, but Reggie still deserves to go.

Wrong. He will not change his name after moving to Jacksonville. As long as people know who Alex Mack is, they will vote for Alex Mack.

Nope. Just one guy.

Yes I was aware. I am just mind blown that the guy getting rag dolled all year made the pro bowl. I got to watch this all pro center step on the left guard's foot on two consecutive plays while trying to chip a DT. It needed a Benny Hill soundtrack.

There must be at least two centers in the Pro Bowl.

Yup. There should be and neither one should be Alex Mack.

Of course we do silly. Even though they only play with one ball, there are 2 teams so there must be 2 centers, 1 center for each team

Surely nobody thinks that there is only 1 center and he snaps the ball for both sides. That would make no sense.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

This is an absolute joke. Plain and simple. It's insulting to good players.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

It's sad that the Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest anymore, from the fans and players and coaches. It doesn't mean anything anymore...
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

A-Rob is a first alternate.

I believe that if the Jags had found a way to be 8-6 right now and in 1st place in the division, that ARob 15 would be going to his very first Pro Bowl.

That's what I believe, unfortunately we will never know.

I definitely thought ARob deserved to go on his own accord, not because somebody might not want it...then again, I dont watch the probowl so there's that.

The Pro Bowl will always be a joke as long as popularity is the main focus and not stats..
