Jaxson De Ville catches flak from ESPN for sign he had at game yesterday

Is Ebola not being treated right?

OK time for my personal opinion on the issue.

I know Jaxson was just trying to be funny and pick on Steelers fans. I get it was a joke. But I don't think any jokes related to deadly diseases are funny because that is saying getting sick and dying is a laughing matter. He could have picked a better way to tease Steelers fans for waving Terrible Towels.

I really hope he does not get suspended for the Browns game. Mark Lamping has two weeks to think about doing that.

The Ebola thing may be a bit distasteful at this point in time. He should have done something a little safer like hold a sign that said:

Towels carry the best part of you that was dribbling down your mom's...

Phones ringing, I gotta get that. I'll finish this post later.

I am not sure which is more funny, the ebola joke or the people getting their panties in a twist. Bunch of babies.

I'm indifferent.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

I'm offended that the NFL allows cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, Sodas, and French fries to be sold to us in the stadium. Then to make it worse they sell alcohol.

600,000 people a year die of cardiovascular disease in the United States. 88,000 people die a year from alcohol abuse a year.

I say that the same people who complain about a sign that is intended to be a joke actually take a stand and complain about things that actually affect the people who attend the game.

A single person in the US has been diagnosed with Ebola; I'm sorry I don't think that Sierra Leone has NFL Sunday Ticket available so they are not offended.

No. You can't recognize sarcasm, or even humor, so don't even bother commenting on this... Trust me, I was there. It was funny. The Steelers fans  around me thought it was funny. It's simply a bit of PC nonsense...

Was it funny?  Not really in my opinion.  I don't find disease of any kind a joking matter, especially a deadly disease.

In my opinion it was just poor taste.
Sorry., I thought it was funny...I was there. It was a funny bit...

Getting concerned about Jaxson this thing has legs, it was a bullet point at half time Monday night football.

I honestly didnt even know about it until half time of the MNF game. I dont see why they had to go that route with the joke, It doesnt really offend me but i can clearly see it wasnt a smart thing to do at this point in time.

Very poor taste...but hardly the end of the world!

Far more. We must ban all falling jokes.

Doesn't the flu kill 20,000+ a year? No more jokes about having a cold, either.

Sometimes I can, actually. Haven't you noticed I laugh a lot on this board? I also know some people with normal brains don't think it is funny, so it is not just me saying this.

ESPN really has been pathetic.  It's been a unified front on their part.  Really, that's one of the stories we need to be outraged about on Monday Night Football half time?  You think their commentators are told what position to take?
