I'm thinking that if she got to the point of forgetting her daughter that something else is going on and seeing it written on her ankle isn't going to help.

 

I don't think I explained her reasoning well enough, she'll never forget her daughter. Anyway, I don't think an ankle tattoo is the type of display homebiscuit was talking about, and like I replied to him, until I have that type of experience, and I came close but not that bad, I'll not judge her method of grieving.

I have no problems with anyone putting it on their body...tats are a personal thing. It's the big honking shrines on the back of cars that I don't like...it just screams..."look at me look at me...look how wonderful I am at grieving"

I actually agree with you on the decals on vehicles.  It's a little over the top.  We've all known someone who died.  Should we start NASCAR'ing up our vehicles with memorials to all of them?

To honor her and to help spread awareness of the importance of wearing a seat belt, her friends and family made bumper stickers. I'm sorry, but I see no problem in that. If you aren't interested in the idea, don't purchase a sticker. If you aren't interested reading it, then look away.
