Jags expected to reach out to Coughlin

We had a rookie owner, a rookie gM and a rookie hC.

I'd say our owner is no longer  a rookie....Look for him to make some moves....he's no dummy like the other two.

Coughlin may not be the answer as HC.

To hell with the Super Bowl right now lol. This franchise has been poisoned by Gus and is in a different universe than the Super Bowl I just hope we bring in somebody that can win some friggin games!!!! That would be a good start.

What’s that? Ah — Super Bowl? Don’t talk about — Super Bowl? You kidding me? Super Bowl? I just hope we can win a game! Another game.

bad idea for tom to return to jags as thier HC.  I say that because at age 70 this team could cause the poor guy to have a heart attack. I hope for his own health he doesn't become the HC. Lets all rember tom is a very emtiontial HC,and yes thats what jags need, but not one that can have a heart attak easier. I know you can have those if your younger, its just more likely when older, and under stress, For Toms own health i  hope he isn't the new HC.

Your future president is 70 years old but he seems to be able to handle it. If he can handle the job of leader of the world I suppose TC can handle a little old football team.

Haha well apparently he can't even handle the job! And he's not even in office yet.

In regard to Coughlin. I would be ecstatic, but weary at the same time. I'd worry that Coughlin would have a Shannahan like return. I'd love if it was a 3year deal, with him grooming someone. Coughlin has some magic to him though, while his teams don't always look super polished, they are always prepared for their opponent and seem to make magic happen when they really need it. Which is what we desperately need right nkw

Damn it SW. I can't disagree with anything you say after your 2-14 prediction. I wanted TC too, but now I have to go with your gut.

I'll take the 90's over the fubar we have now

Coughlin can make in-game and half time adjustments.  this staff doesn't seem to know how

Tom Coughlin can still be a good coach at age 70, but you picked the wrong guy for that comparison. If I did not know better I would spout off many reasons "able to handle it" is incorrect.

OTOH Ronald Reagan was 73 at the start of his second term . . .

Where did you get "little old team" from? We are one of the youngest teams in the NFL.

The only adjustments Gus makes are below the waist.

Our President-elect is 70.  I'd have to say coaching is less stressful than being the President of the USA.

But the Giants lost some games last year because of terrible clock management after the two-minute warning. That was a big reason he missed the playoffs and lost his job.

How does a coach who is so good at in-game adjustments screw up at the most important time?

You are replying to someone who never knows what he is talking about. He loves to make up stuff that makes no sense to anyone else.

Someone please inform this psycho chick that SW predicted a 2-14 record in the midst of mega media and fan hype. As far as I'm concerned, he is Nostradamus.

Yeah, super bowl, the main goal.

I didn't say next season, we all know projects take longer.

I just don't see Coughlin succeeding again, but if he is the Jags next HC, i will be rooting for him.

Future President, which means he hasn't been in the stressful position yet. TC has been in a stressful profession for 25 years.
