But based on what? He was a great unknown college guy. Did he have a ton of sacks in the preseason? Yannick is the main sack guy. But we will see.

Holmes was getting pressure throughout the preseason and appeared to have justified his draft status.

Hopefully, Holmes isn't another Brandon Marshall screw up. The Browns finally got us back for Don Carey.

He'd have been buried on the depth chart here, but I wanted him to stick as well.

PS signings via O'Halloran:

Quote:The Jaguars signed six players to their practice squad (four spots remain open): Offensive tackle Rashod Hill, defensive tackle Richard Ash, cornerback Nick Marshall and receivers Shaq Evans, Rashad Lawrence and Shane Wynn.

I like those receivers. Marshall gets one more chance and Ash earned his spot with good preseason play and hustle.

Would expect the final 2 PS guys to be defensive guys...Currently at 6 Offense and 2 Defense on PS

On Huff via O'Halloran:

Quote:
Huff, 24, is suspended for Sunday’s season opener against Green Bay for violating the NFL’s policy for substances of abuse, which means he doesn’t count against the 53-man roster until Week 2.

A college teammate of Jaguars free safety Tashaun Gipson at Wyoming, Huff was the Titans’ fourth-round pick in 2014. He started one of 30 games and had 15 tackles and one interception. He played 280 and 84 defensive snaps in his two years.

Huff played three years at corner in college before moving to free safety as a senior. He saw practice time at both spots for the Titans.

Not mentioned above - he actually started at SS in a few games due to injury for the tacks. Versatility and ST impact. Seems a good signing if he's good on the substance abuse moving forward.

Why so many receivers when have? the Allens, Lee, Greene, and, Walters. At this point just run the NFL spread option offense. 2 minute offense all game.with 8 receivers even though 3 ps and 5 rbs

I'm glad Marshall signed to the PS. He's certainly a project but flashes a few times.

It's practice squad, dude. You use it to stash talent for the future. Depth on the regular roster has some impact, but not as much as you think apparently.

These guys will never be active on game day unless there are injuries at their positions.

Yea but it is just 2 many. We already have 5 rbs too many. And 8 receivers too many.

Id much rather have four potential pass rushers. Then 3 wr
