The Jaguars signed six players to their practice squad (four spots remain open): Offensive tackle Rashod Hill, defensive tackle Richard Ash, cornerback Nick Marshall and receivers Shaq Evans, Rashad Lawrence and Shane Wynn. 

 

 

 

I like those receivers. Marshall gets one more chance and Ash earned his spot with good preseason play and hustle.

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">A college teammate of Jaguars free safety Tashaun Gipson at Wyoming, Huff was the Titans’ fourth-round pick in 2014. He started one of 30 games and had 15 tackles and one interception. He played 280 and 84 defensive snaps in his two years.

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">Huff played three years at corner in college before moving to free safety as a senior. He saw practice time at both spots for the Titans.

 

 

Not mentioned above - he actually started at SS in a few games due to injury for the tacks. Versatility and ST impact. Seems a good signing if he's good on the substance abuse moving forward.

Why so many receivers when have? the Allens, Lee, Greene, and, Walters. At this point just run the NFL spread option offense. 2 minute offense all game.with 8 receivers even though 3 ps and 5 rbs

I'm glad Marshall signed to the PS. He's certainly a project but flashes a few times.

Why so many receivers when have? the Allens, Lee, Greene, and, Walters. At this point just run the NFL spread option offense. 2 minute offense all game.

It's practice squad, dude.  You use it to stash talent for the future.  Depth on the regular roster has some impact, but not as much as you think apparently. 

These guys will never be active on game day unless there are injuries at their positions.
