No, i wont. If you didnt think he could beat out henne, or you thought henne was serviceable, they should have taken clowney (hypothetically at 1) or watkins. Or traded down. Then draft the developmental qb later (like teddy). Top ten picks should be immediate difference makers. That certainly applies to the guy you had at the top of your board.

So, if they were confident he could beat out Henne (they were and still are), but they knew that he'd require some developmental time to truly be prepared to play in the NFL, they still shouldn't have drafted him because he wasn't going to start on opening day, and they should have gone after an overrated defensive end who is doing exactly what today?

Chad Henne has played this way for 7 years. It isn't hard to figure out.

And yet some people are stupid enough to think that somehow Bradley et al can't see that. A combination of a vast overestimation of their own football knowledge and gross and an absolute inability to understand what the coaching staff are setting out in pretty clear terms.
